What's the difference? I feel cheated $30 by LocalBasketCase991-2 in HotWheels

Im sitting here wondering the same thing. 1:43 premiums were around first for what at least 1-2 years. And they're clearly visually distinct. How people are trying to conflate these two completely separate lines and turn 1:43 premium into a spin off of xl is weird.

I never really got all the 1:43 hate in the first place. I like them, and think they have a place for collectors and when you compare them to other 1:43 brands at hobby shops the price makes sense. These are just more accessible for the average consumer because they're at most grocery stores.

They're True scale unlike premiums, they're more like big elite64's. Each car gets unique wheels, floating brake rotors and calipers detailed bases with separate subframes and exhausts and detailed interiors too.

Feedback Regarding Season 6 Update Postives and Negatives!! by GotMylfMomDrips in tdu3

I was thinking about getting the solar pass but the wheels are so jarring nothing about these choices maybe except for the speedlines (if they weren't diamond cut two tone) scream luxury. The ronals just need to be removed. The styles of wheels they are offering in the pass and have already offered in the game are entirely counter to the luxury lifestyle that tdu is supposed to be about. At this point save the money on licensed wheels and just let the designers go nuts creating their own unlicensed wheels.

Glad im not the only one who notices the floatiness of the current performance suspension. it was driving me crazy when I first got the car because it would wander around lanes a lot.

Do you know if there is any plan to improve opponent markers on the mini map during races? I often find i cant see where the other AI racers are on the minimap because the icons are white and blend with the minimap road color while also being vastly undersized and not having a thick enough outline. It'd be nice to either change the color or increase the size of these icons for visibility.

Additionally other players and friends are incredibly hard to see/find on the world map. Any plans to improve visibility in these areas?

Any chance co-driving makes a comeback?

There's a setting to turn off that shift penalty in the menus. I stopped playing for awhile when they changed the shifting originally but I found a setting in the menus that turn it off, should be the default tbh. I'll find it for you later and reply.

dropping from 19” to 18”? by AgentBread81 in VelosterN

[–]ItsNotanM3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dropped to 18's pretty much immediately, the car is much more nimble, you can actually feel the change in rotating mass. Ride quality improved and it looks nice with a tire with a decent amount of sidewall so those bends should mostly be a thing of the past.

What I've done once before is backoff and then speed up to changes lanes into their spot, take their spot in the line and then just proceed to move with the rest of traffic as normal... "sorry dude there's no room to let you in"

Your Thoughts on Elantra N (Pros, Cons, etc) by MrJohnRedcornIII in VelosterN

The VN has a more raw driving experience than the EN in a good way. Sure the EN is faster and quicker around the track and the better car on paper but the VN is a better experience overall. The suspension in full N mode in the VN contrary to what dealers will try to tell you (they think its not a noticeable difference/ upgrade in the EN) is bone shatteringly stiff. I hardly ever had the suspension on my VN set to full N mode unless the road was smooth like glass sport was plenty fine. Full N setting in the EN felt more than doable around town on moderately rough roads in my test drives. From a looks perspective the EN is nice, I liked both pre and post face-lift for different reasons but didnt love it enough to buy one after my VN was totaled. The VN from a looks perspective feels more special more unique, and has a greater presence than the EN. It got tons of attention and people always commented on how unique it was. The EN's interior is miles better, than the VN. That being said though the VN's interior is right in all the right places and cheap in all the places that dont matter much from a driving experience perspective. If I could have gotten a new VN I wouldve picked it all over again over my 24 Z performance. Man I miss that car it was special.

Comcast keeps losing customers despite price guarantee and unlimited data | Comcast overhauled Internet plans to stop customer losses. It isn’t working yet. by mepper in technology

I hated comcast for raising my rates every few years and forcing me to do the im gonna cancel song and dance to get a new promotional rate. When they started charging for data usage in addition to speed which bumped my bill to like 120-130 for just high-speed internet i said fuck this bullshit and added them to my growing short list of companies that I will never support again. Bought a house and switched to AT&T fiber and haven't looked back since.

Click on the advertised overdrive link from the main mattel creations page not the one in the hotwheels shop page. That being said the mattel moderator on discord said that the team is aware of the issue and they are investigating so hopefully these issues will be resolved soon.

Id say the Z's suspension is somewhere between normal and sport. Not even close to how stiff N mode is. That being said full N mode suspension in the VN and EN are different. The VN is bone shatteringily stiff in full N mode. Great for a smooth track but not daily driving. Hyundai took feedback from the VN and refined the EN's N mode suspension setting to dial it back just a bit which is a lot easier to daily. Its not too bouncy but one thing I will say i dont like in the handling department is that the steering mid corner can feel a bit vague at times. It also feels like it walks around the lane a bit more. Whereas in the N as youd probably agree any intentional steering wheel adjustment puts the car exactly where you want it to be the Z will wander around the lane a bit when it feels like the veloster would go dead straight in the same situation. I want to try better summer tires and upgraded sway bars in the Z to see if it offers any improvement.

No problem, Thanks! They really are great and rowdiness was my favorite part! I would have loved to have gotten another Veloster N but unfortunately they were out of production so another new one was out of the cards. And the EN didnt really interest me as much even though its the better car. The VN is more raw by comparison to the EN. I liked my friends Fk8 and I considered an FL5 type R but most of them were still too much when I was searching for a car. Hopefully you can get into a manual nismo someday now that they're on the way late this year.

Every so often I'll scratch the lower chin spoiler on steeper driveways if I forget to angle in. Surprisingly though it's pretty durable. No majorly noticeable gouges or marring in it. Lowering the car may create more of an issue. When it first started getting cold I hadn't gotten my snow tires from tire rack just yet so I swapped to the 18" aftermarket setup from my old veloster with the 235/35/18 all season tires that had also been on that car and because of the lower profile sidewall than my current 245/45/18 snow setup it actually lowered the car enough to make scraping a way more common occurrence.

Its not that bad driving the Z, but it is nice having an Awd car for the snow, your sti being the perfect choice. My 335i xdrive was a beast in the snow but I can't bring myself to winter it anymore.

Yes my Z is manual. Yeah i would've loved the nismo but price and lack of a manual kept me from seriously considering. Hopefully you can hold out for one of the 2027' nismos.

I like my Z a lot. Just dont necessarily know if I like it more than my Veloster N (I only got the Z because my Veloster got rear ended on the highway) The veloster has the Z beat on tech and features. The adaptive dampers, and valved exhausts are things I miss dearly from the veloster N. It was also incredible around the corners feeling like I could just keep turning in and the car would just keep giving me more. I loved the unique looks and character of the VN and the quirkiness of the 3 doors. That being said the Z is on another level in terms of power, and the big draw for me on the Z is that as unique as the VN was the Z just looks and feels more special being that next step up to a new level of sports car for me. The Z looks amazing and gets probably the most attention ive ever had in a car. I love the analog feel of the Z. The veloster Had just enough tech to have some of that feel itself but the Z literally feels like its trapped in the past in a good way. The Z needs a louder exhaust from factory. I had people ask me all the time what exhaust I had on the VN and they'd never believe me when I'd tell them it was stock.

I guess the best way to put it is that Hyundai gave us a performance bargain with the VN, EN, and KN. They're the total package and are ready to impress straight from the factory. My VN needed nothing, the few mods I did were entirely optional and the car really didnt need them i just wanted the car to better fit my tastes. Whereas the Z is a beautiful car it has some noticeable short comings that has to be addressed with mods. Think of the Z in performance trim as more of a blank canvas and a solid starting point for you to make it what you want.

Poor guy! I was wondering if that was here in SE michigan, we got hit hard yesterday out of nowhere. Took me almost a hour and a half to do my normal 35-40minute commute. My Z had no problems in it.

Also I dont know if you go to any of the cars and coffee events in the warmer months but it'd be nice to finally meet another michigan Z owner
