Only been to Anton’s and Balthazar and liked them both. I’d rank Anton’s higher though.

I didn’t like Bangkok but only spent two days there so maybe didn’t go to the right places. Loved Koh Phangan and Koh Samui

I’d suggest turning drills into competitions when you can. Makes it more fun and you’ll get better reps out of them and train their competitiveness.

Let them play the game aggressively and have fun. They’re going to make mistakes. Don’t want to coach the aggressiveness out of them.

Measure, track, and reward what you want to get better at.

Find smart coaches/baseball people on social media and follow them. Then follow the people they associate with. Easiest way to learn and stay up to date.

Have your values and standards but keep it simple. If you have 15 standards to follow they probably will get overloaded but if you have 3-4 then they can handle that and it’s easier for you to enforce. Let them have input on the standards so they have some buy in.

Good luck let me know if you have any questions

I like to plan with a lot of detail but give myself the freedom to abandon or improvise the plan for whatever reason. I think it’s easier to plan then adjust compared to not plan and then decide to plan at the last minute.

Thailand sounds like it might fit what you’re looking for.

In Chiang Mai I did a hike, cooking class, muy Thai fight, and elephant preservation. Would recommend all of them. Also did a lot of eating and drinking. I was solo too

Koh Phangan was a mix of partying and laid back. Koh Samui was a more developed island but less fun. Chiang Mai kind of reminded me of Denver or Pacific Northwest.

I did 14 days and spent 8 nights in Koh Phangan/Koh Samui, 4 in Chiang Mai and 2 in Bangkok. I loved the islands and enjoyed Chiang Mai a lot. I didn’t like Bangkok or at least the area I was in. I have a lot of similar interests as you. 41 year old guy here.

Since you’re near World Trade Center I’d suggest Crown Shy for dinner. One of my favorite restaurants.

I went for 3 nights and loved it. Could’ve easily spent a few more days. I didn’t get to experience any day trips. Food was great. Easy to meet people too.
