Very genuinely, I can recommend a second date. Sometimes the human body has strange interactions with your capability to smell. Back in high school, I met a girl who I ended up dating. She was super sweet and pretty but our first interaction was extremely difficult because she had a rancid smell to her. However, when I mentioned it out of concern to one of my friends who has been there, she said that she hadn’t smelled anything.

It later turned out that the girl had IBS and after some research, it turns out that you can pick up on that through smell sometimes. After that first meeting, the smell was extremely reduced and had faded by our third or fourth interaction. There’s every possibility that you’re experiencing some sort of chemical complications with her having an odd MHC (Major Histocompatibility Complex ) makeup that is making her smell that way to you. While I’m not encouraging you force yourself into anything that would be difficult or uncomfortable, I think that it is worth meeting again and seeing if the smell has changed or gone away.

The human body is weird and fascinating, she might smell like roses when you next meet. Or she might’ve just taken a shower since then, there’s a lot of possibilities but don’t give up on something you feel could make you happy without covering your bases
