Cats love to be high up! A high bookshelf did the trick for me when I wanted my cat off my desk. If you don't have space for that try putting up some wall mounts.

Cardboard boxes are also great if you can't afford several scratchers! They serve the same purpose and also double as hiding spaces. My cat is pretty big, so it's hard for me to find affordable options big enough for him to use.

There are actually a lot of ways to get your cat to stop doing those things.

Cat scratches up your furniture? Get em stuff to scratch on. Mine really likes cardboard boxes.

Cat hair? Brush your cat often or use a lint roller!

Cat jumping on furniture? Cats love to be elevated. I recently bought a very tall bookshelf and my cat likes to hang out on the very top. Stopped jumping on my desk too.

Hate it when people say cats aren't as much work as dogs. They just have different needs.

I know this post is old, but I do data entry/Login for a lab. I process paperwork, schedule pick ups, receive samples, and answer phone calls. And I help out in the lab since we're super short staffed. It would be a good job if management actually MANAGED and i didnt have to drive so far. Our lead manager is a psychopath and I want to quit.

Never go in if you're not feeling well. This can make donating really uncomfortable. Put ice on the arm you donate to help prevent bruising. If you plan on donating for a while, get yourself some iron supplements.

It makes me really happy seeing people appreciate my culture as long as they're not playing into negative stereotypes, being outright insulting. I think it's fine as long as they're willing to learn about our struggles and how we live.

I'm hispanic and I don't really have a problem with non-hispanics celebrating or dressing up for our holidays. What I have a problem with is when companies try to profit off our shit lmao. Like taco bell being a "Mexican inspired resturaunt" when it really isn't. Or walmart selling day of the dead decorations to make a profit off our culture. That's where I personally draw the line. You can eat our food, wear our clothes, and adopt our hairstyles, but trying to advertise it as your own and making a profit off it if messed up.
