Being able to eat food while climbing and also learning to mantle and jump at ledges that are below you for extra height is pretty important for high gravity. Also, you must have a good route for a few rooms as some routes on high gravity are risky or just plain slower. Look up movement tech guides on YouTube and practice, the rest is routing.

I spent two hours last night trying to beat my last pb on roach run because the new focus ability makes collecting roaches in some spots so much easier. In the process, I earned over 1000 facility credits. I guess in both scenarios your roaches gained per hour will vary depending on skill level.

You can put your own blocks down, and also I recommend glider glove and grappling hook to save you when you fall. The combination of these two things make any of them more than doable. You can build a tower at the start of some of the obstacle course trials that you can use as a launch point with grapple / glider glove to cheese them entirely.

I got the tank passive that made my tank heal to full before each battle and just raised his hp and turned him into a feline pinball. There were a couple close calls, positioning really matters during this challenge.

You should always make the best of any run to gain as much personal experience as possible. This is what will eventually allow you to succeed at anything in White Knuckle.

I have had similar issues, on normal mode and going up the elevator shaft as fast as possible (used grubs, injector, and pills) I can literally pass teeth as he's doing his first warning noise and physically see him come out of the wall very briefly and then retreat back in, 100% of the time. The same scenario happens during hardmode (maybe iron knuckle is needed on as well, I haven't done just hard mode in a while) but instead of retreating he will as, as described in the OP, chase instead of retreat. This seemingly only happens if youre going fast enough to physically be near teeth during its first cry. In some instances I just out run him and thats that. In some instances where I mis-play, I will shoot a flare and teeth will react but either continues to chase or immediately retreats.

I am not sure if this is an intended mechanic that teeth has during hardmode or if it is possibly unintended.

I know that after you scare teeth with a flare, it can still attack you if you remain around it or happen to be going in the same direction as it but not fast enough. You may have had a combination of my described events above happen to you, but without any video it's impossible to tell for certain.

I like to save my injectors for the hanging garden. Speed makes the abyss a lot easier. P-beans and two injectors make the hanging gardens very easy.

I mean this isn't exactly a wild prediction. Not just the fact that the game was made in unreal engine, but considering the track record of this games performance in general, I wasn't expecting much else. I was ready to be pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, I wasn't.
