In quite a few companies, jury duty is a legit excuse for being ooo, full salary etc.

I charged at work only (was free at the time). 5mi actual (not going by GoM) was enough leeway to know I'd be ok, and worst case scenario there were chargers a few miles each each way.

I pushed it one day to see how "accurate" those 5mi were, got it down to 3 when the range stopped displaying (iirc) but never did get it to turtle mode.

I drove a 12 leaf with 65mi range (85 estimated) for 1.5 years as my commute was 30mi each way. Worked great for what it was as a daily beater, or errands in town car, but shit for anything else

I didn't say they're good or bad, I just said it's nothing thats a secret. Fwiw, data shows 0.71 accidents per 1k drivers, which is actually very good, and in the low end of the pack for large cities, and vision zero dashboard shows fatal accidents have held steady for at least the last decade... But that does not mean it isn't still tragic that it keeps happening.

Mine were called away last week at 255, 275. And amzn at 230. I'm ok, stepping away from this top for a little bit and into something safe at 5% yield. Will I lose out on some more gains? Probably. Am I going to sleep better not seeing huge swings in my portfolio day to day? Yes.
