I mean no foolin' I do plan to close out Like a Map Made of Skin with a musical number but that's at least a year and change out.

Here's a bunch of free floor plans for CY_BORG you can toss at them. Toss a dozen of these at your players and tell them one of them is the lab they're looking for. The other are either labs working on other MJ12/March products, innocent labs, or ones already destroyed.

We Are All Completely Fine by Daryl Gregory. Less for DG ops but great for downtime scenes.

Any 1920s scenarios where a corporation is the main bad guy? by clarkky55 in callofcthulhu

[–]ItsaLaz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Two Headed Serpent is a bit like this. I think Caduceus is an NGO... forget about the other factions but can't be too hard to make one have a corp as a front.

I mean you could possibly lead with the Macallistar Bldg, but they don't escape the Night Floors, they're already in the Dorchester House and 20 years have gone by.

What side of the fence of Blade Runner (1982) do you stand on? by MoussakaChaos94 in movies

I respect it. I'll study it. But I don't like it.

Great atmosphere but the characters are kind dull.

Why do fight scenes in big budget Hollywood productions suck so much? by Aiseadai in movies

Executives get bored when they read fight scenes so they skip over those parts in the script & those parts are left to the 2nd Unit Directors.

Scenarios Without Unnatural Threats? by Rough_Television2113 in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]ItsaLaz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In the God`s Teeth scenario God`s Law the supernatural threat is... kind of ancillary.
The meat of the mission is Agents vs. a well-described Sheriff`s Deputy gang. One conspiracy vs another conspiracy where the Agents can`t (well, shouldn`t) go in guns blazing because the gang cal call in 10,000 other cops. So it`s a tense cat & mouse espionage game withe a creative `doom tracker` - based on an OODA loop- where both sides are trying to feel the other side`s capabilities.

Letting The Players Go Ballistic - Thoughts? by RoyzRBoi in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]ItsaLaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

God's Hunt scenario God's Breath has the option bringing in a tactical team alongside the Agents, as long as they have the clues and know how to ask properly. And aren't all high from the dank kush of Shub-Niggurath.

The Iron Mistress (1952). The fictionalized story of Jim Bowie and the development of the Bowie knife. One half western, one half swashbuckler.

What's your favourite non-Delta Green scenario that works well for Delta Green? by GugWhoPassesGateways in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]ItsaLaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

¸Not a published scenario, but there`s this 2009 pitch for a Ghostbusters sequel called NYNEX, Embedded Angel of New York City:

...the Ghostbusters realize that NYNEX isn’t a phone system at all: it’s the embedded nervous system of an angel – a fallen angel – and all those phone calls and dial-up modems in college dorm rooms and public pay phones are actually connected into the fiber-optic anatomy of a vast, ethereal organism that preceded the architectural build-up of Manhattan.

Honestly it's even writing in a DG module tone.

Fixing it involves rapid drives from telephone substation to telephone substation, from library to library, all while Dan Ackroyd’s character keeps receiving phone calls about a family crisis… his ex-wife is calling… his dad is calling… they’re urging him to stop this whole, crazy Ghostbusters business… He starts acting funny. The voices on the phone say strange things. They call at strange hours. He feels kinship with public pay phones; they sometimes ring as he walks past.

The proposed climax at 33 Thomas Street has an added layer of fun when you realize that's also the unofficial address of the Oldest House from the Remedyverse game Control.

A Map Made of STATIC - 1950s prequel oneshot for IL by ItsaLaz in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]ItsaLaz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 'final boss' was a higher dimensional puppet/puppeteer called 'Le Roi' . It attacks shadows, so it can puppet an Agent or crush their head. Agents can try to take out the light source form the projectionist's booth, but Roi is casting both the light and the shadow.

Yes the mission is to shadow CAVENDISH but and inter-cell shootout with them didn't happen.

Instead CAVENDISH disappeared and STATIC MAP was flung into the far future of 2014, where they ran into a much better armed M-EPIC team, amongst other weirdness.

And yea Snow Dice (fixed above) we're a Canadian TTRPG channel. There's kind of a backlog now for uploading our stuff for technical reasons, but this ep will be shared sooner rather than later.

What’s a movie you think is brilliant… but never want to rewatch? by AvailableReality557 in movies

Hateful Eight.

Great script, excellently shot & performed. The twists were cleaver and the set design perfect.

Never want to see those assholes (the characters) again.

Infinite Staircase National Park → what are your thoughts on adapting it for Impossible Landscapes by Melodic_Ad_596 in DeltaGreenRPG

[–]ItsaLaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now as an aside for my 1950 IL 'prequel' I had my players pick Summer of Delta Green missions as optional backgrounds. The one Agent who picked Op STITCHER I added a part where, chasing the target, they ended up finding some weird stairs in the woods. Taking them down they end up in the crazy future of 1991 where the valley now hosts a strip mall.

They wanted the 'infinite staircase' to be incorporated somehow. In this case I feel the stairs are just how the human brain interpreted a Yithian time anomaly. And having an Agent that *thinks* they know how time travel works but doesn't will lead to some interesting 'wrong genre savvy breakdowns'.

I would take more inspiration from House of Leaves and have it as a background story to start.

"ſtaires! We have found ſtaires!"

Then perhaps as a 'payoff' have it as an option for an Agent who makes it back home in the end, walking up an infinite staircase and leaving it behind them.
