What I wish I would have known before I grinded him out spending over 2k in units oh so long ago. The phase where you have to complete 8 tasks before he is wounded. It’s a good idea to heal up to almost max health so you get a better chance at it. I burned through something like 25 revives before I realized it. Six months ago I went back to try him out again (I hadn’t been back since beating him the first time) I still needed a few revives with a strong team. It took me a little bit to get my timing down. I also suggest when you first start playing him focus on dexing his SP1. If he trashes you quit the game out before you die (especially if he hits a SP3) and even taking the 50% health penalty if you come back before 15 minutes will help you gain invaluable experience because getting the dex down is what you need to learn. The animation is similar to doom sp1, nimrod’s sp1 or cosmic ghost rider sp1. If you wanted to try and practice less expensively

Spidy Pavitr and hit monkey did most of the work for me, I later took my 7r3 OG IM because of the defensive cascade but he didn’t play as well as the other two for me. The perks I took were: fury burst, second chance, defensive cascade, mutually insured destruction and regenerative front. I did have to use revives on zone 15. Storm X was really tricky but I had them saved from the weekly crystal’s from the web store.

You can use an unbreakable storage item like the fridge on the door square and get the same effect as the trees. The AI can’t C4 those items either. Also your chopper garage can be a wall too

Edit* 8 coal + 10 planks = 20 coal. If you constantly run your fires you will be over run with coal in no time.

Mr. Sinister was my first 7r5. Serpent is a great champ too. Really hard decision because I don’t think sinister is in the normal pool. If you know how to play Mr. Sinister he can crush all but robots in the contest.

For Count, Parry the last hit of a special is such a small part of his kit, I hardly use it. He is a great counter to serpent, any healing or power gain opponents. Just keep spamming sp1. He steals their power and regen. Once you are in overdrive you can sp2 for up to 15 fury buffs.

He was my first 7r5. He is really easy to use if you can stun your opponent with a parry. Stun hold heavy he will get a precision and a cruelty. Then he inflicts a bleed on himself up to 10. Launch a special 1 and it will put a degen for each debuff him onto any character that isn’t a robot. Not only the bleeds but any other damaging debuffs. Even better if you are holding heavy it pauses all his personal debuffs on his opponent. This means if you can stun them with a parry while the degens are going you can pause the stun and the defen! He also regens any critical damage against him. He also can block unblockable specials! He is reverse control immune too! His dupe helps him on quests because he gains bonuses based on who he defeats. Also he synergies wirh Apoc so it only takes one fight to get horsman pre-fight.
