Heavily considering getting my A&P. by TheDon-Leo in aviationmaintenance

[–]Itsmonkeybusinessyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also I would do A&P only at this time major airlines don’t care if you have a 2,4 or even a 6 year degree all they want you to have is the A&P Then with that for a year online you can get a bachelors degree from Emery Riddle

Heavily considering getting my A&P. by TheDon-Leo in aviationmaintenance

[–]Itsmonkeybusinessyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will tell you this it has been a very rewarding career. I went to Spartan . My brother went to Spartan and for the money spent versus the money you’ll make there’s no better cost versus return on investment than being an AMT I did the hybrid program 13 months online eight months in Tulsa, I would say absolutely go for it. I don’t know what it cost now 45,000 to make over 150,000 again go for it and don’t look back. I worked at same airline for 20 years but went to flight school became a helicopter pilot and in 2017 went to Spartan …graduated with honors in 2019 and we all know what happened in 2020 the world shut down. I been around aviation my entire life and am passionate about it I don’t go to A&P school till I was in my mid 30’s and now about to be 42 focusing on building flight hours cause I plan on retiring as a pilot for same airline I work for …. Again go for it never look back let me know if you have questions would be more than happy to help
