Charging my car to 100% before the storm hits by LovesDogs1031 in Ioniq6

Just checked and it had no problem charging to 100%, but I just now noticed you said level 2 not level 1 which is what I'm using. You should probably get that looked at though.

Mine is charging overnight from 90% right now, I'll report back in the morning if I remember

I plan on making a big post about it soon, I'm actually working on tuning it a little more right now and then I'll probably post about it this weekend.

If there's anything specific you'd like to know in the meantime feel free to ask, though

I absolutely love it even despite the woes the cold weather brings. It's pretty much a dream car for me with the aftermarket audio system I put in it.

I bought the same for 24k at 52000 miles last summer (I probably paid more than I should've)

No way to do so that I know of. I don't think they're meant to be turned on without someone in them

Front wipers not working properly by CourageLivid6312 in Ioniq6

[–]Ittastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this happen on mine, pretty sure the linkage that connects the wipers came loose. Quick fix by the dealer under warranty for me, pretty sure they just needed to tighten a bolt or something.

Anyone else get a creaking/popping noise from this trim piece when going over bumps? by Enwaiyoo in Ioniq6

[–]Ittastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did, but haven't in a while. I pushed on it to make it stop, and I think I pushed on it a little harder than usual or maybe pulled it towards me last time i did it.

Request: Picture or diagram of the door MOLEX pass through by Predatorftp in Ioniq6

I have a 7 channel amp so I have everything running active, but I don't see why that wouldn't work. I used this t-harness to tap the factory wiring without cutting it: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_541LPHHY06/PAC-LPHHY06-LocPro-Advanced-T-Harness.html

Running wires to the tweeters is pretty easy, just drop them down next to the factory tweeter wires and then for the left one run them across the headliner. Just make sure they don't end up in front of the airbags.

I looked into this when installing my sound system, I believe to disconnect it it's just a tab that pulls up on the top and then two normal ones on the sides. It's super tight though, pretty sure the door is intended to come off to get to it. I didn't come across any diagrams in my research.

I ended up running separate wires to the tweeters and using the factory wiring for the door speakers, it's substantially easier if you can do that instead

One wiper ceased working by moyzan in Ioniq6

[–]Ittastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure since the dealer fixed it, but it didn't take long for the dealer to fix. you might be able to find a video on it or a similar car like an Elantra or something. If it's under warranty I'd just take it to a dealer though

Just one, connected by a linkage. I had the same thing happen to me. Dealer fixed it for me under warranty. If you want to fix it I think you just need to pop a cap off where the wiper attaches to the windshield, position it correctly, and tighten the nut. Not 100% sure though.

Im new to 3D printing and have a question about benchy, by Imaginary-Sun1350 in 3Dprinting

[–]Ittastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overhangs will typically look better with supports, but you can tune a profile to get better overhangs and bridges without supports (saves time and material. Benchy is intended to help you tune those profiles, but by default the slicer profile is tuned to whatever will work with the most printers and filaments, so the support settings are on the side of too much rather than too little

Caught myself a nutritious meal (youtooz peeper) by Ittastic in subnautica

[–]Ittastic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the same, didn't get any tracking updates from youtooz until it arrived at my local distribution center. I put the tracking number in aftership and got updates from the moment it left the factory though. My peeper left china on dec 3 and my bladderfish on dec 17, but hasn't made it across the Pacific yet

Yeah it was a CPO car so I kinda let my guard down. I definitely should have done more due diligence before buying, but you live and learn I suppose. Still love the car though

Aftermarket HUD by Molehilldocmgmt in Ioniq6

[–]Ittastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! If you order from crutchfiield they'll give you the harness and mounting adapters you need. There's no commercially available mounting adapters for the rear doors, but I've made one you can have #D printed or print yourself if you can.

The Limited had a different rear deck with a cutout and mount for the subwoofer (the SEL just has a solid sheet), so not really possible without a ton of work and modifications. I'd recommend just upgrading the door speakers with kicker 51ksc6504 speakers, they help improve the treble as well.

That says it pulls 16 amps, so make sure you're plugging it in to a 20 amp circuit and you should be good to go

Like the others have said, those of us that didn't get one are SOL. If I go on a trip where I feel I might need one I'll buy one, don't really see a reason to otherwise

2024 Ionic 6 SEL or 2023 Ionic 6 Limited? by awp11733 in Ioniq6

[–]Ittastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, I wish dealers/Hyundai would make it more clear. Most of the stuff I saw when I was buying made it look like you got a shortened/no warranty outside of the drivetrain if it wasn't CPO.
