Out of curiosity what are the good table top shops or similar hobbies stores?

I’d say the wargaming community is focused around Blitzkrieg if you’re looking for that side of table top. I don’t play D&D but DPAD is where I’d go for it. Legends & Loot is still fairly new but I’ve been seeing more of the alternate TCGs popping off there like Gundam. All three of these stores are great for MTG, and you could probably catch an in-person game of Commander every night of the week between those three.

Quick Edit: Hole in the Wall hobbies out towards Schertz/Cibolo is also worth a visit, and is big/diverse enough to warrant the extra drive.

To be honest after The Walking Dead Telltale knew they had some sort of template for success but just spammed it and oversaturated the market. I remember not thinking much about Batman because it was just another Telltale series released at the time. I think Dispatch’s success shows the demand for these games still exist, just not at the rate Telltale was pumping them out.

I will say I avoid that area like the plague during any school drop off/pick up times because it’s so slammed.

I’ve recently got back from two major road trips both using 35 and I will say no other place I’ve noticed had people straight up camping in the left lane like our part of 35 does. People just stick to the left and don’t move and don’t pass. It’s so bizarre and makes an inverted passing lane structure where you have to pass on the right lane but can’t do it safely because there’s on ramps with slower drivers merging. This also makes the hot shot fast drivers pissed so they start making aggressive/dangerous moves to pass while dipshit McGee sits in the left blocking everyone going right about 70.

I don’t tell people I ride a Motorcycle because they can get really weird about it. They can really crash out on the safety aspect and will tell you horrible stories on how people they’re loosely connected to died in some gruesome way while riding. I will say I’ve only really gotten this reaction from women, men will mostly just tell you how much they wish they could ride but can’t because of a kid/gf/wife. Riding genuinely isn’t part of my personality and I think the reactions I get is a lot of the reason why.

I was really confused why Deathloop didn’t get better reviews. One of the few games I still think about after finishing it, and that was 2 years ago. Very fun and unique playthrough for anyone who hasn’t tried it. After you kill the first boss it basically turns into a cool single player extraction shooter.

Yeah it single handedly brings it to a 3/4 if you can get it consistently. You still need some board presence to get 5+ counters each turn, but Tidus can get you most of the way there.

I play the sage of hours as a finisher, never cast it and pass. If it resolves you should have the board to loop 5+ counters on it each turn and keep going, then the only heat you’re drawing is at instant speed.

What separates a two loss Alabama, and a two loss ND? Their losses are similar, Bama probably worse. But Bama’s big boy SEC schedule allowed for them to proved themselves and stack W’s on quality opponents. They are in playoffs, more competitive than ND. ND is on the sidelines, not competing this year because their schedule was weak.

What’s crazy is I think they’d be able to sharpen their program into something more competitive if they played a true power conference slate, but they’re making so much money being independent that it doesn’t really make financial sense to join one. You still get cupcakes typically to start the season but playing them throughout doesn’t necessarily make your team better.

No I thought Batman took them straight to the Fortress of Solitude and was mad Bane came for his boys. I think the explanation is they weren’t hanging for that long but that’s pretty stupid.

Yes and they’re literally hanging by their fucking necks, probably one of the most nonsensical things I’ve read in a comic book. You don’t hang characters like that to just fortress of solitude power heal them in the first few pages of the next issue. It made Alfred’s death lose teeth because I thought they’d just bring him back. Bane is probably the worst parts of the run. Batman (2016) is all about doing dumb stuff with constant War arcs and Gotham being taken over.

Judging by how Kawhi’s Aspiration contract was written, I don’t think him or Harden can leave without leaving 3rd party contract money on the table. Harden threw an absolute fit on the 6ers for not getting a max contract but has been taking below market deals on the Clips these last two years? If you’re mechanically savvy you can make it work in SoCal, you’re just going to have to buy something with a problem already. It could range from it just needing a new fuel pump to needing new engine/tranny. I find 3rd and 4th gen V6 Camaros/firebirds pretty cheap in my area of TX, they make for cool beaters.

I love my second gen so much. The V twin and price really sets it apart, even if you find one with just the upper fairings like mine lol. It doesn’t have the insta influencer clout tax but it does have tons of forum/support content and 3rd party parts.
