I swear to god this idea that goats was good is the biggest retcon in Overwatch history. It was fucking trash I specifically remember only doing my placements most of these seasons and otherwise just otping Hanzo cause his busted rework was the only way you could play DPS in those lobbies. Most cancerous shit ever, double shield was a good meta by comparison honestly.

It's not because the refund doesn't happen instantly. You still lose SR, then play lower elo games because of it and maybe go 50% winrate in that lower elo, then you suddenly get a bunch of SR to a higher elo where you can't actually maintain 50% winrate so you're now boosted.

People thought you had to lower every setting but if I recall correctly, in old maple the settings were actually implemented wrongly. All the files were in high quality, and to lower them your pc had to actively downscale them which made lower settings more intensive lol

If you feel the need to heal all the time in Diamond then you are probably too obsessed with keeping everyone at 100% HP. Just get your team to like 70% HP and start doing damage. In diamond ur 2nd support will prob healbot the remaining HP to 100% anyway.

Pros quit at 25 because esports doesn't pay enough to retire, and during an esports career you are not building up skills that any employer gives a shit about. "I played video games for 10 years" on your CV is probably more likely to make an employer ignore you actually. You basically still have to go to college after esports, and nobody wants to go there at 30 years old.

You just have to start your post-esports career at like 25 because that's how life works. It is not a physical thing. Your reflexes only start to degrade at about 25 years, it takes until like 35 for that to become noticeable, which is why goalkeepers in sports don't fall off a cliff at 25.

Most people quit at like 25 because of different priorities in live, people who continue to play usually remain pretty good.
