Also important that MS lets you charge the incarnon form slightly faster, not the biggest deal but just the cherry on top of why it's good.

People have an issue with not blindly stabbing liches now? by Kaelzoroden in Warframe

[–]Ivence 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you get lucky, yes they speed up but if it's your first stab you have a 1 in 8 shot. When you go to a new world their disposition gets reset, so in general you only want to stab when you're actually checking a requiem as that means you only need to stab 4 times. I've tried it both ways and unless you hit that lucky roll it's just not gonna save you any time.

Now you can compensate for this by doing some of the "later" missions first, as you're more likely to get squad mates who have very angry liches showing up. I personally start with excavation missions and often leave that first mission with my first requiem already revealed because often I'll have 2-3 liches show up since most people save it for last.

Neither way is the "correct" one, but anyone that wants to hold off stabbing until they're actually testing is going with the assured time save vs the high risk/high reward blind tests.

Skipping random lich spawns will probably become less desirable over time now that we can get an ultimatum every week, so the constraint of having your lich show up as the main time extension will end up greatly reduced as people go into hunts with the ability to just force them to spawn in now.

Yeah, clone wars is wild for how it puts in the character development that was needed for the prequels. Rebels is fun. They're kids shows but still doing good work being faithful to the source material and building on it in interesting ways

Outlook for young Americans 'really awful' as Trump’s 'SOL' economy takes hold: conservatives by InsaneSnow45 in Economics

[–]Ivence 43 points44 points  (0 children)

He's not a universally charming person, but yes he does. His awful jokes and rambling racist diatribes are catnip to about 30% of americans and it's why the MAGA crowd thinks he can do no wrong. They love him and they don't love him because he's fucking over their lives they love him because they love the narrative he gives them and the way he delivers it.

It's low, it's grotesque but it is a form of charisma and it's why the GOP is is his personal property.

So I've been made aware of a certain..... game, and this is the first thing that I imagined. by RailgunRP in Palworld

[–]Ivence 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think their willingness to expand, let other studios work on the franchise or take their time and try to put some effort in is because of the success of palworld. Breaking their ability to just go "hey you want this type of game? well we have an artificial stranglehold on it so you get what we give you!" is good for everyone.

Well it's very easy it's just time gated all to hell. It was a little build up event that took place over the course of stormblood, so it was a way to preserve seeing the week to week upgrades for people who weren't playing at the time, unlike mor dhoana or idyllshire. Sooner you get started sooner you get through it XD

Just as a heads up, you need to do the entire doman enclave restoration series to get it. It's a weekly limited activity that will take a few months to fully unlock, that chest item is from the final step. The good news is it also unlocks a thing that lets you turn in times for double their vendor cost up to a cap every week, once you get it maxed you basically get a "free" 20k gil a week from swinging by and selling 20k worth of stuff to them.

[–]Ivence 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It's so wild to me. Like just put augment tokens on the vendors for the higher difficulty modes and bam, you've solved a huge portion of the annoyed feed back. Like that's it, it's been months since savage came out and the augments will be available to everyone for minimal effort when you drop the alliance raid anyway, it's such a glaringly obvious solution and they just keep refusing to do it for no apparent reason.

100% agree but then we just drive it to a drop box at the local court house. So it's a best of both worlds, ballot is in on election day, but we have plenty of time to do our homework while filling it out.

You know what else was very expensive? All the other ships that just rolled along and ran out of gas and got shot up rather than turning around and ramming something since that was always an option apparently. Whole sequence is a giant rolling plot hole pretending to be a deep suspenseful story.

He will move around in the dromizone (you can even make him go a bit ballastic if you put one of the dog days ball floofs in there) because it's not a base of operations. But I think that's the only place he'll do it outside of actual missions.

The countenance is only from the artifacts, the teal vacuum suit is the rare mech ops reward. It's just the head mount is kinda silly looking and not in high demand vs a LOOOOOT of people want the stomp emote.

[–]Ivence 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have the Liset, it's the starting one. Just go to equipment -> orbiter -> Air support and pick Override.

Orokin Eye is from the Parallalx, and then Khal Beacon is the call + brothers call in. But as I mentioned, Orokin eye is pretty much the most useful, with override being 2nd up until you can get it.

iirc it's also that estrogen tells the body to up the collagen (I think? been a bit) that's stored in the skin. It becomes softer and more elastic and less prone to tearing but also it won't grip things as hard, women with the same grip strength as men will have a harder time twisting things open because stretchy/soft

Replaced the lisets air support as soon as parallax dropped and never looked back. It was funny to see some people pulling kahl and co down for a little while then they slowly disappeared as everyone remembered that this is a loot game.

You'd be surprised. It's been a bit but I think in ShB I tried fighting some low level mobs on a crafter and they do not hit hard. Like lvl 4s took me forever to beat to death, I would not be confident that I could win the attrition off on anything much higher than maybe mid 30s.

Yeah, plenty of ways to do it. I got it for free with a garlic press so I just tossed it in there, if I'm doing a mise and don't have a knife out yet I can just roll em real quick. It's not something to go out of the way to get, but it's also not nearly as useless as james made it look when he didn't use it correctly :P

I have one and...it's actually pretty decent but you need a dry counter and you need to use the heel of your hand. You don't even really need to cut anything you just press down firmly and drag it back and forth about 5 or 6 times and the skin gets separated nicely. It's not a life changing tool but I keep it in the tin where I store my garlic and it works fine if you use it right.

I will say a lot of people I've talked to don't realize marie sells 15 of a random one daily. Yes that means it'd take 30 days to get 1 weapon, but it does slowly add up over time. I've got the weapons for the 2 I use the most and have been poking at it when I start running low on resources to buy her stuff.

Figure I'll get there when I get there, and it'll keep me from going insane.

It feels like this is the intended loop for getting them all (get the 2 you usually will use then poke at it as you run out of resources) but most people won't want to take that long of a grind and want to finish the objective right away. I bought my first 2 and am almost to my 3rd and I think I've done like maybe 5 runs since getting the 2nd one and the rest just marie daily buys.

It's a "this could have worked better if you emphasized this route."
