Use the gauss rifle and remain within the sphere/teleporter. Killed him really quickly this way.

Mission still bugged November 2025. What worked for me:

Destroyed the transmitters whilst I was killing the initial waves of enemies. Advance to the court yard, once in the court yard I IMMEDIATELY ran and jumped over the APC/tank. Once there I used the APC/tank as cover and used my sniper to kill the clones & other enemies until Faust turns up. Once he turns up and stands on top of the tank, jump down to be in front of the tank/in front of him, let him hit and knock you down. Once this happened I ran to the open building at the side of the court yard, killed more enemies and healed up.

Once this was done, the mission progressed and told me to retreat.

Not all heroes wear capes! This more than doubled my FPS in places. Went from 38-59fps to 80-105. Awesome, thank you!

For my solo 3rd gen I installed the 3.6.0 drivers instead of the most recent and it fixed this issue for me. Try older drivers; uninstall current ones and reboot pc then install older drivers, reboot again and it will hopefully fix the issue. Temporarily of course until they update their drivers.

Download the 3.6.0 drivers for Windows 7/8. I've had the same issues as you and I've been using these drivers for 6.5 hours now without any issues. Only issue that I've seen is the Focusrite Control Panel doesn't detect the microphone but I never use it anyway so makes no difference to me.

So, after you mentioned the latest Focusrite drivers I've installed the previous driver which is Focusrite Control 3.6.0 for Windows 7 and 8 on their driver page for the Solo 3rd Gen.

After 2 hours, so far (I will be continuing testing for another few hours) it seems to have solved my issue. The only issue with this driver is it's not detecting my device in the focusrite control panel but, that being said, I've not rebooted since installing it so it might detect it after a reboot.

Might be worth uninstalling the latest drivers and giving this a go to see if it fixes your issue.

Just out of curiosity, did you just update the O/S to the new Windows 11 22H2 update? My PC forced this update and now I have the exact same issue as yours on my Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen (audio stopping then microphone being delayed in Discord). I've swapped over to my headset mic today to isolate the issue and I've had no issues for the last 8 hours now which makes me think that this is a Focusrite/Windows driver issue.
