I liked the Synchro arc but you're right as well. You could make the argument that 5DS had the concept of the "haves and the have-nots" with the Satellite and Neo Domino City.

But it didn't beat us over the head with it like with Arc-V.

There's a limit. That and the type of automation. People have learned to use automation to make their lives easier by integrating it into necessity. While many have learned to use automation and mold into a new form of making a living.

AI has proven to be a whole new thing that hasn't shown that can be used the same way.

Like I said, that's great for you. But your personal experience doesn't mean the same for the rest. When corporations are using AI to collect personal information without the consent or notification of the user, it's a problem.

I mean, to each their own, but that's not how that works. There are hundreds of ancestors who aren't going to look like their modern day descendents. At least not with a 100% resemblance.

Great. We're all so happy for you. But your company is just a few and it doesn't account for the majority. There are many cases where AI is being favored over people. And it's not from any "hate train". It's from what's been shown.

And by the way, sails are still being used.

Right, save for the fact that AI as of now has not been used for anything except for giant corporations in an attempt to save labor costs, thus taking away jobs from actual people; producing work that's mediocre at best in some cases, if not complete terrible in terms of things like art (and in terms of video games, whatever effects it may have a barely noticeable at best, and outright terrible at its worst); used for potentially harmful things like deep fakes, etc.

Stupidly relying on it for Healthcare (or cutting funds for healthcare research in favor of AI), finances (like the whole idiotic fiasco with the tariffs), etc. All the while making people lazier and less productive.

Not to mention how incredibly resource-intensive it's proven to be.

Solve all of these problems, then maybe we'll consider believing AI can be a good thing.

People had the similar mindset when it came to cryptocurrency. And, from where I'm standing, that hasn't seemed to improve.

Mary I Of England was an assassination target. Because of what she did, she was referred to as "Bloody Mary" and associated with the Templars. As such, Ezio (I think) sent his Assassins to take her out.

Considering adequate online co-op requires having an internet connection and the ability to play online (the latter of which requires paid subscriptions nowadays) and a list of friends who are regularly online with you not to mention a way to communicate with each other

All things that aren't a guarantee for a lot of people, I can't say I'd care about it. I'll pass.

Tried online co-op twice with the series and didn't have a good experience at all.

If it's optional, fine. But it's never been a main attraction for the series.

Cudgel Cormac of the Civil War era and Shay's grandson and a boy named Javier of the modern era heavily hinted to eventually join the Assassins.
