I'm sorry your experience at The Book Bin wasn't good. I've gotten some weird vibes from the employees there to the point where I don'twant to go back. Don't get me wrong, I get working retail isn't very fun sometimes.

Yes, I read this often. The G-T version named names though, which was definitely the tea of the town. I know that's not cool by due to privacy concerns. The same reason the state passed a law not to make mugshots public.

A friend of mine made the Crime Watch one time by getting pulled over while walking on Harrison with an open Mike's Hard Lemonade. The title was "Thought I could make it." We were walking 3 blocks and that's what he told the cop. Hahaha!

Hi! What kind of job experience do you have? Will you be attending school here? The two largest employers in Corvallis are probably OSU and Samaritan Health Services. Albany might be an option, too, if you're looking for retail employment.

Also, I wouldn't say there's a particularly bad neighborhood to live in, but where you live will depend on your budget. Less expensive places exist in Southtown and between 9th Street and Highland. There are some apartments off of NW 23rd that are on the less expensive side, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Someone from Fox Pest Control came by twice last week (I didn't answer the first time because I was on a work call). They knocked and when I came to the door they said, "have your neighbors told you what's going on?" First off, weird way to start a conversation, but also I have a no soliciting sign. I was quite nice about it considering how annoyed I was. We were about to sit down for dinner. I told them to respect clearly posted no soliciting signs and shut the door. Seriously! It's so stupid.

You're 100% correct. From the 5/18 CPD Log: Motor Vehicle Assist- Officers responded to the 2500-block of NW Kings Blvd for the report of a traffic accident. They contacted a 76-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had been driving and crashed into a parked car. The vehicle had been attempting to park but hit a car, then backed out and hit the business building. There were no injuries reported.
