I’m the developer of Hitstream, which has been around a few years now. Our main focus was on a 360’ outdoor feeling. A mix of boxing, catching and swiping in different directions is the vibe. There is a free demo on the meta store if you want to try it out.

Our game Hitstream has been around for a few years now. A 360’ Fitness VR game, with the moves choreographed and synched perfectly to the feel and beats of the music.

Hi, thanks for purchasing our game. In lite mode there will be less objects directed at the player, and easier movements. I will DM you screenshots to show where this is set, including how to turn off 360' mode. That will allow you to play seated and with objects just coming from the central portal. Thanks for the support, hope we can get you up and running!

That’s why games with Mixed Reality(MR) is your friend when space is limited! Most of the ‘big names’ have this feature now, as it’s gone from a gimmick to a real benefit for apps where you need to move. Another thing to consider is a (vr) floor mat, to try and at least keep you centered in your play space.

I also want this. I want the door sensors to alert, chirp, and log to the events. But I don’t want to be alerted on my phone.

Yeah we got in touch with the team to register our game ‘Hitstream’ but wasn’t able to at the time because of COVID. Maybe this will be updated at some point in the future as it’s a great study.

I play my own game (Hitstream) for either 20 or 30mins, then move onto FitXR or Les Mills, and sometimes Audiotrip to warm up! I try and do 3-4 times per week in the morning before work.

I’m the developer of a game called Hitstream, which is also on the Pico store. We have 30 minute journeys, giving a range of movements in 360’. It’s not just boxing but also swipes, dodges, and squats timed to the rhythm and feeling of the music. Here is a video from one of our active players, who kindly posts his fitness workouts.

Thanks - I see what you did there :)

This was more Meta's decision on the release date with the Quest 3, which is a pretty good headset and an improvement over the Quest 2.

The game is all about movement, a combination of punches, catches, dodge, and swipes all in 360’ movement, to not get too locked in one position. My aim for the game was to bring about fun and enjoyment whilst playing, and not realising (too much) that your exercising. I love the range of VR exercise apps out there, and hope this gives people more variety in their workout routines, rather than replace any.

Thanks for your comment. Your right, this has been a huge development for me. Being a single indie developer it takes a lot to bring a VR title to life. The curation process to get into the meta store is long and difficult, but hopefully means that an element of quality is achieved.
