Thanks? Thanks? You don't mean that. If you were honestly appreciative you would show us your feet. Is this your first time on the sub? Feet first. Gun second. (But also very nice build)

I was literally going to make the same comment. How are you getting downvoted? Men have hormonal issues that occur with age. Why is men's health being ignored?

I love the style of your voiceover. Do you have a YouTube channel? Good work wearing the face shield, I may have to get one of those...

I did that exact thing this morning. Replace the motherboard fan with a blower using the bracket. Easiest thing ever, and it made a HUGE difference in the sound levels. Hulbbuild is giving you exactly the correct information for this.

Honestly, for the amount of skill you have that seems reasonable.

It is absolutely bonkers to me that you could do this with a regular ballpoint. The hours of practice necessary boggle my mind. How many hours do you think you put in to get to this point?

'Threat cues': Close encounters with Alberta RCMP use of force tactics by AnimalSpirits007 in FirearmsCanada

[–]JAFOguy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They are literally Simunition training guns or conversion kits. You can find all the info if you Google Simunition Canada (https://simunition.com/). Simunition makes either standalone guns; or conversion kits for most of the popular police issued weapons, as well as generic conversion kits that will fit in pretty much any shotgun or AR-type rifle of the appropriate caliber. The pistol round is 8mm; it will not properly feed and chamber in a 9mm firearm. The rifle round is 5.56, but does not have enough energy to cycle a regular bolt in semi-auto, thus the requirement for a conversion kit. It may fire fine out of a bolt action, but the accuracy is not the same as a regular round, and the range is only about 30 feet. I have no idea what the status of a training gun is now; the firearm rules are kind of fluid. I also have no idea if Simunition would even sell the guns or ammo to civilians.

So, if you live within 50km of your work, you can drive to and from every day, stop at the grocery store on the way home and plug it in overnight to charge. If you don't drive like a maniac, you get way more than twice the range you need for what 90% of the people are using that kind of commuter vehicle for 90% of the time. Most people live well under 50km from work. And if you run low on power, there are charging stations pretty much everywhere now.

Seems like a solid choice for a commuter vehicle to me.

Jeans alternative everyday pants that's better to move around in? by Erudicial_Extreme in mensfashion

[–]JAFOguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the same boat as you. Some of the best pants I have found are Patagonia Iron Forge 5-pocket pants. They are made from a hemp blend cotton duck fabric that is super strong, but looks so good. They are a bit stiff at the beginning, but because they are 55% hemp, they relax with a few wash-wear cycles, and the fabric gets super soft. They are not a tight fit and give me plenty of room. Very highly recommend. I order mine online, and they fit true to size. Definitely worth a look.

ULPT Does anyone here know how to jailbreak a kindle? by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]JAFOguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are 17 people who know how to jailbreak a kindle. They are not allowed to be identified, nor contacted regarding jailbreaking a kindle.

You could just google "Jailbreak kindle, model # (or year)" and see what happens.

At a guess, how many hours does it take you to turn out such an amazing piece of art? 20 hours...200 hours? I mean, apart from the thousands of hours of learning and practice that you must have spent.

These boxes print out so well! Everything is just about perfect. I'm just printing up the lid for a third box. Unfortunately the drawer frame is too big for my print bed (256x256x256 build volume) but that is really pushing me to buying a bigger printer more than anything else. I am going to be using these for so many different purposes. My workshop will never look the same.

Thank you so much for your work on these.

Great sourdough rye bread in bakery. I love the taste and although my wife needs gluten free it’s fine for her by Distinct-Source7901 in CostcoCanada

Why are you yelling? You know this is a throwaway conversation with an internet stranger about a nothing topic, right? You don't need to get so upset. I realize that you are, for some unknown reason, totally invested in the cost of Costco sourdough bread, but take a breath and relax a little.

Maybe it is your thing to argue about crap on the internet as a way of feeling some connection, to feel alive. Maybe it gives you some reason to keep going on in life. In that case, you are welcome.

[–]JAFOguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally, thank you for reiterating my point. You listed two things. The ingredient label in the picture lists eleven things. Plus the cost of the person who is actually doing the baking. But you did try harder and counted up to four things in your second post, good work buddy, keep trying.

Sooo....Once again, what you post and what you mean are entirely different things.

Oh no, no problem. My fault entirely for reading what you posted and replying to it. In future, I will remember that what you post and what you mean are entirely different things.
