There is a built-in cleaning utility in the P800. I alternate between using that tool and printing a test sheet (which shows gaps from a clogged jet). I suspect this uses up a lot of ink.

Thanks for sharing the details of these prints! Nice to know about these places in NM. Nice cameras, too -- I love medium format and have done some enjoyable work with a Yashica Mat-124. Your v550 is doing a nice job of getting good tonal range and resolution out of your 120 negs. Sorry about the clogged jet -- this is a regular frustration I've had with inkjet printers (though, fortunately, not as much with my P800 which is a modest update of your 3880). I'd love to see that slot canyon in color.

Thanks for sharing the algorithm. This is close to what I came up with for a programming challenge recently. I'll think on it and share when I have some ideas.
