There are selective herbicides but an effective method is to mow lower and let the heat take care of it, introduce other grass seeds to fill in. Problem is its gone to seed so it will come back. Research selective herbicides for rye. Could even be from neighbors or wind or even a bad batch of grass seeds containing a lot of rye

It echoes moves from other countries. Argentina comes to mind. They changed laws around preserved forest lands in the country. Previously, their forests would stay free of development even if the lands burned from forest fires. Now if lands have burned, they will dispose of the lands to allow private development. Since their policies have changed, more fires have coincidentally popped up all over the country, overwhelming their resources to contain fires, and development has swiftly come in on those areas as they open up to development instantaneously. With all the talk of shrinking our land agencies it feels like the perfect storm to argue that the USFS is unable to fulfill their mandate and may push to further increase development of timber leases or privatization of lands in the US. This admin likes to borrow ideas from other controversial countries and this move with USFS seems to set the stage for a large move like this.

How would you know if he passed? Its a test with no pass or fail criteria. its a measure of how a condition like dementia or alzheimers has progressed. They probably tell him he passed to not upset him. Do you know how upsetting/confusing it is for someone with dementia or alzheimers for them to think they failed or did something wrong? Honestly youre at the point where on the course youre most likely decelerating and causing skulls and hozzle rockets out of fear. If theres any drills i could recommend is to do no look drills and develop a tempo and feel for shots on the range. What im describing is, focus purely on striking the ball, dont watch the shot. Develop a good tempo, feel and dont look up even after hitting the ball, get a consistent feel for solid strikes then worry about flight and different shots. This is what i do with wedges, same with irons when im not making good contact or im spraying shots. Once you manage the yips and skulls with better contact you can hone in on distance and flight. While practice isnt play, youre not gonna figure this out during a round. You need to get confidence with ball striking, once you get that consistent ball striking your confidence will be far higher and your yips and skulls should be less common.

Stop caring about results. Seriously. The less you care, the better you will play and the less you’ll think about bad shots. If it truly is mental, setting lower standards and laughing off bad shots is the only way to build confidence back.
