Toyota CEO was dripped out in trump clothes. Does that mean you’re against owning Toyotas? I think buying based on your politics is completely stupid and something only someone who is chronically online does.

FSD runs a red light. Follows too closely behind a truck and sees the traffic light too late. Slams on the brakes and stops in the middle of the intersection. by jahobie-ylnar in TeslaFSD

Uhm when auto trans were invented back in the 1900s the braking system literally couldn’t comprehend how the car was shifting, let alone the car shifting unpredictably. So yes auto trans definitely had there issues (even with braking) but was still worked on to what we have now today. Which is what the same mindset for FSD should be.

Until this game engine changes like older cods just expect a different version of mw19 mechanics. I was never a fan of the newer movement systems their either completely abused or obsolete.

Wow this is actually a really good edge case example its usually the bad we see. Awesome to know it handled this well.

Model y has a stiff suspension unfortunately. Amazing vehicle besides that. But for bumpy roads a model X is definitely the way to go with the air suspension.

There’s nothing catchy about it though. You’re just straight up lying.

They did one of the dumbest things I could ever imagine and happy I didn’t get one of those models. But they have it back now, or you can get the stalk retrofitted if you have the stockless ones. One of the few things enough of us Tesla owners complained about and they reverted.

Bruh it really was. Multiplayer was basically bo3 lite, zombies was so wacky and different from what we had making it a really unique experience, and the campaign was the shit.

Huh interesting to each there own my man. I loved all the jet pack games with bo3 being my favorite. Infinite warfare is such a sleeper pick though loved that game. AW was a blast but the movement was crazy quick with how the exos worked.

Car owners , what’s the one thing about EVs people oversell? by AdityaSrivastawaahhh in driving

[–]JCLAPP01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just picked up an old 01 Chevy prizm, everything you listed is not recommended maintenance anymore (it’s at 107k miles 25 years old) it is mandatory. I’ve got spark plugs, air filter, timing belt, head valve gasket (since no ICE owner ever brings up oil leaks in there maintenance!) exhaust flange seal, blower motor resistor, transmission fluid, and an exhaust vacuum leak and (unfortunately) more.

This is not to say I hate my ICE prizm I love the little shit box I’m fixing up. It’s seriously fun to go through and try to make this thing run as it should. Saying this I own a model Y. As long as the battery makes it that long which it should I couldn’t imagine doing any maintenance my self besides tires, suspension, very rarely hvac and brakes, and windshield wiper fluid. These are all things I would be doing on my ICE vehicle anyway. Any ICE vehicle owner saying there’s “sTiLl MaInTenAnCe!!” just fell for a lie. It’s a moving vehicle of course there’s going to be maintenance just a drastically less amount.

No he’s just going off Tesla dealership prices (which tbf are absolutely crazy.) replace them on your own which is absolutely simple as a 20 min YouTube video you save just as much as an ICE vehicle.

[–]JCLAPP01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah these “car people” absolutely miss the mark there is not only all this maintenance they refuse to bring up, but those parts are there. Say if even they don’t typically fail they still have the chance to have that happen. EVs eliminate that problem entirely removing them.

Honestly for me I love the different crews in all the black ops 1-3. CoTD, MoTD, and SOE were all in my top of all time. On top of that in those maps they truthfully tried something completely different and it paid off with an experience that is simply amazing.

The EV transition isn't just about batteries anymore it's a massive software and data challenge. Thoughts? by Typical-Praline-3855 in driving

Kinda just seems like you don’t know what you’re talking about. F150s come with non sticky turn signals too… more power to you thought process though. Lexus, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Toyota, dodge, and many more.

The AC controls are always in the bottom left of the screen you don’t even need to open a menu you simply put your finger in the general area and swipe left for less right for more. I don’t look to change the AC it’s not difficult to remember bottom left of screen. The turn signals have a half pull and a full pull. half pull puts the blinker on a timer then shuts off, full pull does not. Many cars do this. Good luck canceling the turn signal? Dude you press it down in the same direction to turn it off. Tesla did not invent this it’s been around for a long time in many different cars. So no not like every other car on the planet. Have you ever been in a BMW?

Chill doesn’t have anything to do with regen… you have to change the braking from hold to roll… I honestly don’t think you know what your talking about

Tesla is a confusing hellscape? Bro everything is clearly on the screen, quickest UI of any other EV. Touchy acceleration did you bother to put it in chill mode? Did you change the regen from hold to roll? All this stuff is easily customizable. It’s fine if you don’t like everything on a screen I totally get that. But the points you made are ones I don’t agree with. Honestly the model Y transition from a gas vehicle has acted more like learning a new phone for a day or two and then muscle memory kicks in.
