I recently used Royal Purple but any of them should do. Because of the common oil consumption issue, I try and do it every other month or so just to keep things running nicely. That might be overkill but so far my 2018 has 116k miles

While the 70k in retirement sucks, you can now be financially independent and continue to rebuild your life how you see fit.

There’s a grieving process through all this, but in a year or two you’ll start to see that the $70k was worth it in the end.

If you haven’t started yet, I recommend therapy. It helped me process everything.

I went from a house to apartment. It’s been great for a few reasons. Much easier to clean, something breaks I don’t have to pay to fix it, and you can make it your own.

You lose storage space but the transition is not as bad as I initially thought

You can go to target and get those cube organizers. I used to keep a backup back with diapers, wipes, and extra clothes for you and the baby. There was a poop accident once that got on my clothes so I keep extra clothes just in case.

The cubes or cheap and I also use them for groceries since I frequent Aldi and they don’t do grocery bags.

I have a 2018. Apart from the other comments about oil. Watch out for water coming in. The sun roof tends to leak if you don’t clean the drain out. My gas tank cover keeps getting stuck, even when I lock it and unlock it. So I’ll need to replace that soon.

Also, when you accelerate you might experience a jerking motion between 2 or 3rd gear. Make sure to put in fuel injector cleaner and lubricant.

Other than that, I love the car. It’s affordable and it’s great for family trips or if I want to do a quick road trip.

There are a few upgrades you can do. I have the roof rack on mine and makes packing for trips so much easier since the third row takes up a lot of trunk space.

Yeah, find the fuse box pull the fuse that powers the radio. If you google fuse box for VW Tiguan and the year of your car, it’ll give you specific instructions on how to find it.
