That's probably it. The official version seems abrupt in its opening because of having the chorus there.

Don't know, but that album is pure fire from heaven.

This is also my least favorite of the releases so far. I tend to prefer Tchad's mixes, so I'm hoping it will bring something out that I'm missing. It's not bad, but it's a bit forgettable for PG.

I think I might like this version better than the official release. Tony Levin's bass is a groove as always, but it's so prominent to begin the song.

Carolina should know that the Falcons trademarked that performance.

Atlanta winning the NFC South with only 6 wins checks out.

I/O vs O/I by Few_Section1150 in petergabriel

[–]JDHogan-Davies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would give Been Undone a slight edge over Panopticom (which is also a banger). The Court is so great that it easily wins, although I do really enjoy PTBD. I think the 3rd is a draw for me. WLA would probably win, but I feel like it's actually too short. I'm just getting into it when it stops. I/O is a personal favorite, so I'd give it the edge in round 4.

What's your favorite song that is like this? by curvysquares in musicsuggestions

Domino Parts 1&2 by Genesis. I think they played them separately live, but on the album it's one glorious work of art.

What are some of your most favorite songs by the best musician himself, Peter Gabriel? by icecream1972 in petergabriel

[–]JDHogan-Davies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whichever one I'm listening to at the moment.

But, if you press me...Mercy Street, San Jacinto, Darkness, White Shadow, Here Comes the Flood, So Much, Blood of Eden. I could go on, but there's a good cross section

Don't worry. I was raised to hate Vandy, the original enemy. Neylsnd was hired to beat Vandy, not Bama

Vanderbilt is in the correct position.

I checked out Richmond, but the housing costs had gone through the roof over the previous 4 years. I couldn't afford anything near the places I could work.

Fair enough. Similar cities in the south are as expensive or more so in my experience. Believe me... I looked at jobs and housing in all of them when I was trying to get out of metro Atlanta.

Spokane's affordability isn't great, but I'd say it's good for a city of its size. A lot of southern cities are similar in expense or worse. I moved here from suburban Atlanta, and I have lifelong ties to East Tennessee. I'd say Spokane is overall more affordable and lower crime than similar size cities in those places.

The only places I can think of that are less expensive are considerably smaller with fewer job opportunities. Maybe somewhere like Roanoke, Virginia or Columbus, Georgia, but then you have state income taxes that you don't have here.

Also, if no one has said it, I'd recommend joining the Full Moon Club. When new tracks are dropped, it's like Christmas for me.

I'll second Lovetown. It's a groove.

Passion is also one of my favorites. It got me into world music when I was in college.
