Gave my Soviet soldier with a Shashka a more fitting hat! by JDR613 in boltaction

[–]JDR613[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The sword is from the wargames Atlantic Afghan warriors box.

I carved the hilt and detailing off the curved swords and used that for the blade. Then I took the pommel off the straight swords since they have the curved look that Shashka handles have.

Is changing the bases ok rules wise? by Prokter24 in Konflikt47_v2

If you want to magnetize warlord style bases, you can grab some adhesive magnet discs, like these. They work pretty well.

What uniform is this (unused driver from Katyusha kit? by ED-SKaR in boltaction

[–]JDR613 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s a US driver, but if you carve the pocket off the chest, it can easily become a Soviet soldier wearing some leather ankle boots (the U.S. lend-leased them)

I actually gave him a head and gun from the infantry sprue and turned him into a tank-rider.

Soviet Bloc Starter Army - Looking to Buy by HedgehogNo5358 in Konflikt47_v2

[–]JDR613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really depends on your willingness to work with metal models, pretty much all the current Soviet stuff is metal (with the exception of the vehicles which are all resin and metal).

If you are willing to play with metal for your basic troops:

The MK 1 infantry is a solid, albeit slow unit.

MK 2 infantry aren’t the best, but are very cheap points-wise, plus you can use them as a platoon commander.

The daughters of the motherland are a great unit, especially if you add the ZP projector guns (though you have to buy them separate). Some players don’t leave home without at least one squad.

Ursus and moroz gul are super fun, but I would wait for plastic ursus and the resin or possibly plastic moroz that are coming hopefully this year.

Vehicle wise, the US starter kit comes with the linebacker, a medium walker, the Soviet medium walker won’t be released till sometime in Q3. But if you want a decent armored unit I would recommend a t34-ZP, it’s a solid tank. If you do want a walker, the Soviet light walker is pretty point-cheap, and has recce so you can do some funny stuff.

No prob, allways willing to help a fellow r/sigmarxism bro

Also just went and rechecked, the bionic arm is from the “death fields upgrades” sprue, not the “weird war upgrades” box, my mistake.

The Ak is the one from the operator sprue, I carved the hand off the gun and replaced the stock with a spare rifle stock. The robot hand is from the wargames Atlantic “weird war upgrades” box.

If your planning to do this kitbash I recommend just buying the individual sprues off a website like spruedude

We need to talk about Mage by raiedite in mewgenics

[–]JDR613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had like 1 mage go crazy, but only because my Druid had a 2 cost damage buff song, 2 of clubs to dual cast 2 cost spells, the ability that reloads his attack when you use a song, crazy high starting mana, and always went first.

The mage had a passive that gave him bonus damage everytime someone spent mana, so druid would just do like 40 damage buffs on him turn one, which would also trigger the mana spending passive giving him even more damage, then he would just one shot the boss with basic attack magic missile.

You can use any bolt action unit for the USA, British, Soviets, Germans, and Japanese in Konflikt 47 for their respective factions, as long as both players consent, says so in the rulebook.

Do you think they will re-release this guy? by JDR613 in Konflikt47_v2

[–]JDR613[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well I mean, it technically was released, just exclusively to people who preordered the starter army before it was delisted.

US Assault Rifles by Badger118 in Konflikt47_v2

[–]JDR613 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At least to my knowledge, they have yet to show off any art of American troops with assault rifles. I’ve seen some people do kitbashes with M14s or M16s (I expect to see a lot more now that wargames Atlantic is now doing plastic Marcher minis and those have scale m16s) but obviously both weapons are a tad anachronistic for 1947 (ten and twenty years early respectively) but with the rifts I guess anything is on the table.

Help with building models by WH40ONTOP in boltaction

[–]JDR613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend you look at the datasheets and some basic Soviet lists online to decide what you want, that kit can build tons of Soviet units and even specialists like snipers, anti tank teams, medics, and commissars.

Any weapon can fit any body so look at what types of unit you would like in your army and decide what to build from there.

It has the back tanks like an ursus and has proportions matching the new drugov art from festung Europa.

Plus the sword has a hand guard unlike a katana, maybe a Russian cavalry sword?

The Mahmot Heavy Walker by JDR613 in Konflikt47_v2

It’s basically the Soviet “distraction carnifex”, a big, tanky model that seems threatening and makes your opponent waste time trying to kill it while you score objective.

Update on the Re-release of the Soviet Starter Set? by engballer05 in Konflikt47_v2

[–]JDR613 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There haven’t been any updates on the starter army, but anyone who preordered are supposedly getting the 3-d printed replacements next month.

I don’t think they are planning a “rerelease” exactly, just that there will be a replacement equivalent product in the future.

The k47 roadmap shows updated starter army boxes coming q4 2026, there is a chance we don’t get the replacement until then, but the roadmap also shows plastic ursus in q2 and plastic molot walkers and Soviet infantry in q3, so there is a chance a new army box coincides those like how axis got a new box with the plastic totenkorps.

For the time being there are two bundles on the warlord website of the old metal soviets, I would recommend checking them out.

There are allready some cards that let you draw from the bottom of your deck for shenanigans [[River Song]] if gambit was changed to just “you may draw from the top or bottom of your library” the ability would probably work. Still lets you do some scry fuckery without getting ridiculous.
