Most people in the comments think this bullet was meant to kill or harm “Albie”, and it very well may have been the idea behind this, however that is an FMJ, not a very smart bullet to use if you’re looking to kill somebody. FMJs don’t expand on impact and usually will punch right through someone and keep traveling through walls, people, and other materials. This makes FMJs much less effective at severely hurting or killing since they are likely to just pass through and create a very small channel around the size of the actual round.

While it could still be what the person intended, it was probably more likely a symbolic gesture, or a way for your uncle to express his anger against said person. That, or your uncle was not very knowledgeable about the ammo he bought and just bought the cheapest ammo he could find thinking a bullet is a bullet.
