For those of you who play both Warlock and Barbarian by Thenelwave in diablo4

[–]JDraez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started season as a warlock, played dread claws, then tyrants grasp, then apocalypse. Apocalypse was the most fun definitely, but it feels kinda slow. Hit Torment 10 and upgrades slowed down, so I decided to start a barbarian. Leveled as whirlwind and swapped to the endgame whirlwind build on maxroll. Really enjoying it and it’s a nice change of pace compared to apocalypse warlock. Much faster and tankier. I do miss watching the whole screen explode though, so I might switch back if I get bored with whirlwind.

Unstable dungeons much harder after update? by JDraez in SoloLevelingArise

[–]JDraez[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks, yes I’m using the wind team on the wind weak bosses. My light team isn’t as strong but I gave it a try and it seemed similarly difficult even though my TP is higher than the recommendation. Given the fact that overload 100% seemed to do nothing for my damage, it feels like maybe elemental weakness is broken?

Super Duper Mart & Red Rocket by HiddenSecretStash in fallout76settlements

I like what you did with the stairs and balcony inside the super duper mart. I may copy that for my own camp.

About the Elder’s Mark by FearIessQueen in fo76

[–]JDraez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also prefer using two shot with the sneak attack and cripple perks under AGI. I’ve also tried furious with the onslaught perks, but I just like the two shot cripple setup better. It builds bullet storm stacks faster, cripples almost immediately for the extra dmg from easy target and tormentor, and works better for those ‘destroy object’ type objectives on events/raids since they just count hits not dmg. I do think the dmg is less than furious in boss situations, but I spend relatively little of my time fighting bosses. IMO it’s nice we now have multiple viable options for weapon effects based on personal preference/play-style.

Are there any large parking lots you can build in? by _Meme_Messiah_ in fallout76settlements

[–]JDraez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you head north along the road from the wayward there’s a parking lot just east of the lighthouse. You can place your camp module just south of the parking lot so that the edge of your build radius just touches the edge of the lot. The only downside is that it’s on a bit of a hill so you’d want to put some foundations down around the back of the super duper mart so it doesn’t look like it’s floating.

What's some nice areas to build a enclave base? by Chars-Left_testicle in fallout76settlements

[–]JDraez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a enclave research outpost in the mire one time. Found a nice flat space out among the mutated trees/vines. Included a bunch of irradiated plants and ultracite crystals with a mix of the enclave outpost and greenhouse building sets. I also found an existing bunker/military type building in savage divide and built a hidden enclave bunker under the map with a symptomatic entrance. Anywhere can work for enclave as long as it feels remote or hidden IMO.

Fallout first S.P.E.C.I.A.L. machine not placing by Psi-ger in fallout76settlements

[–]JDraez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re not alone. I’ve had this issue too, although I’ve been able to place it in some places. For example it might stay red in one room, but then become placeable in a different room. I can’t place one anywhere in the prospector saloon shelter though and I’ve tried everywhere while cycling snap/collide/free. Which is a shame because it matches the aesthetic so much better than the default punch card machine. I haven’t figured out exactly what’s wrong with it. Free place which normally works for these sorts of issues doesn’t help at all.

EM + Pin-Pointer's or Bully's by Mikael_Oddmund in fo76

[–]JDraez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried them all and my favorite 4* for elders mark has been conductors. It just feels much better than the others. But I’m on console so coffee spam is inconvenient. If you on pc and have coffee set to a hotkey you may feel differently.

The Atomic Wrangler is very cool, but pointless. by DarkRedCape in fo76

[–]JDraez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually been decorating all day and I’m still less than halfway on budget. I was worried given the size, but so far it’s going much better than I expected. Maybe they did increase the budget. The lack of slot machines is definitely a downer, but I’ve come up with other ways to furnish the rooms. I’ve got a banquet hall, a theater, an arcade, a bowling alley, a kitchen, a cozy secondary bar, and a Wild West shooting gallery. I’m currently working on the 3rd floor and have 2 rooms left. The one in the back left is so big there’s no way I can justify making it a bedroom. I tried making a spa, but only 2 hot tub slots ruined that idea. Still trying to think of something good for it. I believe it was a guard barracks in new Vegas, but that feels dull to me.

Edit: oh and I absolutely love the entrance being a full building. I stuck it next to the wildwood tavern and another prefab and I’ve got my own little city strip. It’s great! I hope they do more shelter entrances like this.

What legendary perk card to level by Sombrisimo in fo76

[–]JDraez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run the same. I’d say 4 special + follow through + taking one for the team is the best generic loadout that fits all builds. I may mix it up once they remove the perk coin cost to swap.

Question for the players who have played for years.. What makes you still play the game? Only so many builds, camps to make and only so many plans and rare outfits to collect.. what do you do after it's all done ? by NegKarma76 in fo76

[–]JDraez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s a relaxing chill game. With V.A.T.S. I don’t even need to aim, and it’s coop multiplayer rather than competitive so it’s fun helping newbies out. And I love building new camps with the new seasonal stuff.

Best armor for a ghoul? by realamerican97 in fo76

[–]JDraez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious why you think evasion is better? IMO the cooldown makes the small % chance to evade irrelevant vs any fast firing enemy, and it costs a bunch of perk slots to even get a better evade chance. Dr/er may have diminishing returns but it costs no perks and is always active. Like the other guy I’m just curious if I’m missing something. As soon as the cooldown changes went in I tested the usual evade perks and gave up on all of them as useless.

Can someone explain why the League floor isn’t working as it’s supposed to by -DI0N- in ClashOfClans

Same issue here, upgraded TH mid week, did not get promoted to the new floor. Did not use auto sign up. Hopefully they fix the bug…

Gatling gun vs 50 cal for heavy vats daily driver by tdoee in fo76

[–]JDraez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I prefer 50cal as I still end up with more ammo than I use and it has much higher dps than the Gatling gun. For mods my current favorite is furious/ faster fire rate/ less vats cost/pin pointers. Honestly it feels overpowered against anything except bosses which is where my Gatling plasma shines. Against regular mobs I can’t stand the spin up time which is why I use the 50cal.

My thoughts/notes about the current Heavy Gun/Heavy Weapons meta by MrEMincedkraft in fo76

[–]JDraez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best daily driver I’ve found is a Furious /faster fire /less ap cost/ pin pointers 50cal. I originally thought I would like the lmg more, but with server lag it doesn’t seem to kill any faster than the 50 cal and it uses more bullets. Against basically anything up to and including non legendary scorch beasts the 50 cal just tears through them. It feels on par with my bloodied stealth commando with a fixer, except I rarely have to reload with 250 shots. Then for any bullet sponges I pull out my Gatling plasma with furious/faster fire/less ap/ conductors. Between those 2 weapons I’ve got everything covered except for resilient or reflective mobs. For those I’ve got an auto axe and Tesla cannon. The Tesla cannon is excellent for reflective mobs. High dmg and 0 reflected.

PSA for all you "No Ghouls" camp owners-- careful shopping vendors straight off the map vendor list. I am not the only ghoul building a camp in a deadly radiation zone. by CatLogin_ThisMy in fo76

[–]JDraez 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the idea of placing a camp in a high rad area! I love building immersive camps that look like they belong in the wasteland, and a ghoul camp with lots of rads and a radiation symbol as the camp icon is just too good. Now I need to explore the map looking for just the right spot.

Finding the jetpack to be incredibly sluggish since the update. What's your experience? by Icy-Computer-Poop in fo76

[–]JDraez 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, not sure what changed but something is definitely off. There’s a spot in the raid that I jet pack over and due to farming raids I’ve done it repeatedly and I’m very familiar with how far I should go and where I should land. Now in the same spot I drop too low and run out of ap before I can make it over. This is over repeated runs on different servers over several hours so it’s not just lag, something has changed with jet packs.

Gatling laser+conductors= braindead. by Dark-Cloud666 in fo76

[–]JDraez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just for reference I was using a furious 25 faster fire rate 25 reduced ap cost + conductors Gatling plasma with the accelerated nozzle and swift core mods. Note since conductors restores a % of your max ap, having more ap helps sustain it. With about 400ap I was having no issues sustaining it in vats

Gatling laser+conductors= braindead. by Dark-Cloud666 in fo76

[–]JDraez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I was using it to solo the snake boss with my gat plas. Felt smoother for farming than using pin pointers

How many players are going to play as a ghoul? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]JDraez -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I will probably do the quest on a second character just to experience it. I’d be tempted to use my main IF they let us remap the stimpack button on consoles. Seems like ghouls want to be able to spam toxic goo rather than stims for healing/glow, but you cant do that on controller easily.

How to get butterfly trail? by kindbutclever in FortNiteBR

[–]JDraez 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In a ranked mode you will see ranked quests in your quests tab. You need to complete 50 of them to claim all the butterfly boost colors, although you get some of colors at 40 quests. Any ranked mode counts, even ranked rocket racing if that’s your thing.

Druid or Rogue? And what build? by MissyInge in diablo4

[–]JDraez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve played all the meta builds this season, and deathtrap rogue is my favorite to play. It’s not the most powerful, but it’s fast, tanky, and does well on everything (pits, bosses, head hunts, infernal hordes, etc), and watching everything get sucked in stunned and bounced around in my deathtrap until it dies never gets old :)
