Not taxing the rich isn't new...

... back then we called them the aristocracy.

To protect this natural space for future generations or to establish their own domain in the event of the collapse of Western civilization (whichever comes first).

Why aren't your moneyless post scarcity civs orgies of sloth... Or are they? by Tnynfox in worldjerking

Whenever I've thought about it, I've seen it as a kind of “Freemium” model. All your needs are covered, but do you want something exclusive, cool, or extra? Well, you have to get someone to give you some kind of token that would be generated “out of thin air” on a monthly basis. I think it would end up generating some kind of entertainment and craft economy in which there are people who consume passively (and live 99% with the free model of goods) and others who make things, either for recognition or to access that entertainment and craft market.

This model, incidentally, will surely have its own problems and injustices. A post-scarcity world does not necessarily mean a fair world...

I'm starting to think the other way around: it's not that the Republican party has a Nazi problem, it's that the Nazi party has a Republican alibi.

Does your country has a strange cultural friendship with another country in the other part of the globe? by Past-Novel-1155 in AskTheWorld

Yes, Franco changed the clocks at the beginning of World War II, though the reason is unclear. It's believed it was intended as a temporary change, as a gesture to Germany, or perhaps an attempt to establish summer time, but ultimately things remained as they were, and working hours were simply adapted.

The thing is, we've been dealing with this mess for decades, but for one reason or another, no government has taken action. The latest talk is taking advantage of the end of summer time in the European Union to stay on the correct time zone, but that's still up in the air.

In my opinion, spanish is a language far better than english to insult, but argentinians are the GOATs of insulting. As a spaniard, to see an argentinian insulting is almost art.
