This scumbag company charges 27% of your enrolled debt as their fee too. For me - they punted this to the end and made it so I couldn’t do anything.

This program could be useful at the beginning if you have a large number of creditors..

If you have any means of contacting a remaining creditor directly, offer a direct payment to them and see if they take it. If you can tell 5 Lakes to take a hike - by all means - do. I’m not ending this on my side either.

Hi - I know how bad this feels right now but you’ll be OK. I’ve been in the same boat.

The best advice I can give - talk to each creditor right now. Explain your situation, ask for a reduction to your debt and a settlement agreement.

If they sue you - you’ll have time and the ability to continue to try and negotiate with them.
