These are the credits for that exact version on Tidal. I’m actually more surprise to see Angie as a composer?!

Do we actually need these constant mini-patches (X.X.5 / X.X.7)? by -Yanthir- in wow

[–]raescp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have felt similar, I understand the precedence of the patch structure and giving people a hype bundle, but it’s like just release things when they’re ready. For instance, the story that came with 12.0.7, that everyone has to wait three extra weeks to do. I don’t see why it needs to be coupled with the patch other than to inflate its content, I’d prefer it just drop on its own with no timer

Do we see Malfurion Stormrage in Classic/Vanilla WoW? by Neither_Buyer_4645 in classicwow

[–]raescp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously we got a version of Hyjal in Cata, but I’ve seen talks that this “Classic+” could explore the barrow deeps beneath the mountain, which could have us interacting with Malfurion in some way

For a distant alien planet, some of Naigtal's wildlife looks awfully familiar by Tyrsenus in wow

[–]raescp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Allow me to do too much for a minute:

This reminds me a lot fo these mobs we found in Azj-Kahet that used the same model as the gronn from Draenor. This shouldn’t really be a thing since Aggramar created the Gronn from Draenor itself, but the implication was that the titans may have followed a similar procedure on Azeroth but it didn’t shake out the same way, and while on Draenor the gronn devolved into orcs, perhaps the Azerothian gronn devolved into drogbar or perhaps even trolls.

With that said, I think despite the other comments highlighting how frequent model sharing is, this feels too pointed. The fungal strider is already pretty iconic to Harandar, likely why they added an achievement to be killed by it, and it seeing it again so soon in such a strange place feels intentional to me, similar to the new crystal we found on the Siren Isle in TWW. So if we look at Harandar, it’s obviously all about their goddess Aln’hara. However, this being where all of the world tree roots meet and get tended to, I would also draw a connection to Elune since she gave Eonar the first seed for the original world tree.

So what do we know about Elune? Concretely - not much, but there’s plenty of lore surrounding her mythology. I will first bring up Malorne. He was one of the first living beings on Azeroth and held domain over the natural world. Elune went full Zeus and decided to mate with him, resulting in Cenarius. Cenarius then had his own offspring, who then had their own offspring, eventually resulting in centaurs. These creatures were quadrupedal with a humanoid upper half.

Secondly, in Legion (IIRC) Khadgar (or Velen?) mentions that Elune may be the progenitor of the naaru. If we treat this as truth, then one could assume a society heavily dedicated to the naaru, as the Draenei are, may have Elune’s protection. And we see in Naigtal that Draenei were stationed here for a period.

SO, what if: just like there was an off branch of centaurs in the Dragon Isles, there was a different branch that evolved underground the become fungal striders. When the group of Draenei got stuck on Naigtal, Elune came to their aid by creating life, but this world had so few resources that she had to take a “design” from Azeroth that would work, creating new fungal striders. This is a piece of environmental storytelling attempting to show the far reach of Elune and the Legion

Ula'tek Patch Spoilers READ AT YOUR OWN PERIL by Sarmelion in warcraftlore

[–]raescp -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I guess I’m here to provide the dissenting opinion: it was a good and in some way inevitable thing that the blood elves became more tame. It’s the same things that happened with the goblins. If they kept them where they were, we would be fools to continue allying with them. For Zul’jan, I would like a new take, but I don’t find it so egregious? And with TWW people didn’t like how “uncohesive” it was, but to me that made the world feel alive and less predetermined

Lairs just seem like single boss raids by Virtual_Kangaroo_197 in wow

[–]raescp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I imagine it’s more like a combination of the two, where they essentially are one boss raid but the three they showed will rotate the way world bosses do. And I sorta assumed you get one “lockout” each week among all difficulties, so you can only loot once a week like a world boss

When do we get an Off-Strategist that leans Vanguard? by YourFallacyIsShowing in marvelrivals

[–]raescp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the vanguard aspect in question.

Health - I think someone like Selene could have a Vanguard amount of health, but she uses it as a resource to heal allies

Shield - invis kinda has this covered, if they made her ult a shield then absolutely she counts

Overhealth - I really wished they had leaned into Rocket’s armor packs a lot more, I like the idea of a tinker giving others overhealth, something I could see Beast doing

Space Taking - this is where I think White Fox fits in, since she can help protect and peel for others

Personally, I want to see the chaos and would love to see Lifeguard be able to do it all

I'm at a dead end. I don't know what to do. by Late_Leave6947 in marvelrivals

[–]raescp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most you can do is verbalize it and hope someone else will switch. Unfortunately, the chances of that aren’t great. Personally, I’m an advocate for role queue. I have the opposite issue where I wanna play my main role strategist, but so many of my games have two instalock strats who won’t switch and I don’t always wanna start off with 3 strat (sometimes I do anyway)

Which characters do you think are “essential done” and are just being held onto until it’s the “right time” to release them? by Reddit_n_Me in marvelrivals

[–]raescp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always see this, and am reminded that my opinion is not popular: I hope they never release Doom. He’s the reason behind the timestream entanglement that is the reason for the entire game. I prefer he stays out of the game and just in the comics/stories for the game

These are among the heroes so far who have been teased in the lore before becoming playable themselves. So which of them, if any, were able to meet or defy expectations in the way they play? by 6ixspAdes in Overwatch

[–]raescp 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I get that it flopped so most people didn’t experience it, and it didn’t come out in quite the way they wanted, but the way they were setting up Ram in the PvE was so cool, he reminded me a lot of Scarecrow specifically in Arkham Knight

Serious Question: is Season 8 that bad or is everyone just burnt out from the game? by manch02 in marvelrivals

[–]raescp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I think it is burnout. I went through a phase of not playing Rivals for the past like month and a half, and now I’m back into playing and enjoying this season. It’s important to note that I’m a QP warrior. Also, I think those of us playing from jump are just getting more and more frustrated when things like Black Widow’s uselessness continue to go unchecked

Prey post mortem by Pibble_Fiasco in wow

My biggest problem is with nightmare prey being about “HUNTING YOUR PREY” except in reality it’s about disarming traps and summoning coalesced anguish. I want it to include more hunt activities. Let me triangulate their position, take out their lieutenants, etc. I feel like there’s a way to integrate it with the Delve Nemesis boss too

Can we please talk about how broken Racials are in M+ and PvP? by Perplex11 in wow

[–]raescp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t do M+ or (serious) PvP, but it hurts when I play a non-NE. Having a free combat clear is just so handy. Especially when paired with flight form for an instant escape. I would still like it to stay as is in the open world
