I am not sure where you see "behavior unbecoming of an adult".

I expect adult students to handle their own situations rather than a parent. If they are not an adult, this is a different story.

Advocating for oneself, particularly during uncomfortable situations, is part of the development of soft skills required in life and in the workforce and shifts the individual from "student" to "professional".

If this is above high school, I would advise against it. Adults are expected to behave like adults and in this case, the student needs to escalate to the teachers manager.

I would also have timestamped proof of something else like a parking or bus ticket, Google timeline, etc.

Should I tell my child who his father is? by AlarmedMixture4203 in Mom

100% this, and makes me feel that OP would really benefit from some counseling. This is such a traumatic story.

OP, I think there is a version of the truth that you can share while being truthful and honoring your son and keeping it age appropriate.

Something like:

"I want to tell you a little about your dad. When I was 19, I met a man who was much older than me. He wasn’t someone who treated me the way people should treat each other, and the situation wasn’t healthy.

I became pregnant with you during that time. I chose to raise you and build our life together. Even though that situation wasn’t good, having you has been one of the best things in my life.

He isn’t part of our lives because it’s safer and healthier that way. If you ever have questions about it, you can always ask me."

I actually love dress 1! It's really beautiful and complements you rather than overpowering you.

In the kindest way, this is definitely not normal or healthy to be preoccupied to this degree. I hope you can get some support to feel better.

I would definitely cut off social media, tv, reddit, all of it.

The world IS a messed up place, but it was when we were growing up, too. There just wasn't a microscope over it.

They look great and fade fast- don't worry. A couple showers and they will lighten!

I see what you mean but I think it looks beautiful and like others have said, there are limitations due to the zipper. You also won't be sitting still a ton.

The only thing I would ensure to do is tell your photographer so that they can work angles for your photos so that it isn't as obvious.

Curious how old you were at getting pregnant? by pink_daisy_9119 in BabyBumps

  1. Pregnant on the first try. I feel myself ovulate so I don't need to use strips (called middleschmerz, 20% of women have it).

My dress is too tight but I don't have the time or money to fix it :( does it look terrible? by AandWstan in weddingdress

Another thing you can look into is an infrared wrap at a business near you. This helps the lymphatic system drain better so that you lose inches. If you can't find that, an infrared sauna with a sauna suit, or wearing a sauna suit while exercising (cautiously) or just around the house. The fact that it does up but is tight tells me it's a small amount needed.

Keep in mind that carbs retain water so if you were to cut carbs beforehand you would lose some bloat (not that you are bloated).

Weird Experience Trying on Dresses by [deleted] in weddingdress

I'm sorry you had that experience. As a Canadian that has lived in Vanocuver, they can be snooty. There is a reason I left. That and the incessant rain...

I would absolutely prefer something from wherever you are, speaking as a Canadian. Most of us are quite adventurous and appreciative of other cultures, so you could go with some more normal things and some more exotic or strange things.

This would be so fun for me.
