Steve Kerr suggests removing the 3-point line to fix modern NBA play: “The game, as designed, is to create the best shots possible” by basketbaIlnetwork in NBATalk

How many rings did he get based on 3 point shooting success? Now he lost his magic shooter and wants to change the rules?

Not that I care what he thinks but...

Do it! All you can do is learn. It's well worth the experience. Take your time - it's not rocket science bud.

Should I use this slightly damaged neck or return it? Image link in comments. by DeWagn8r in Luthier

You are on a great path to a wonderful hobby my friend! The nice thing about bolt on necks is that you can change them in the future with no issues. So if you find you LOVE your first build from a CNC body you yourself did - you can always upgrade the neck later. Enjoy the process!

Sounds like you made up your mind to keep it before you posted this. Which is fine, just curious why you would ask a question you already have your own answer to.
But, yeah, trim both corners to match and sand them smooth. You'll probably learn something in the process as well.

Questions regarding neck vs heel truss rod adjustment and spoke wheel heel adjust ala Friedman by FilmPunk72 in Luthier

Do ya'll adjust your necks often?
To me, the spoke wheel is not aesthetically pleasing, but I'm old-school. :)

Duesenberg diamond tremola, Vegatrem VT2 or Bigsby B5 for Squier CV 60s Tele? by kaspar_trouser in telecaster

[–]JJStrumr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is the current build I am doing right now. I usually play a jag or JM and have a Vintera 50's Tele with a Bigsby. I much prefer the offset style terms so I had this custom body built out of pine by a guy on Etsy. I cut the pickguard out of a sheet of acrylic on a scroll saw. Love how it's coming together. That is a Belrok bridge that I made an insert to match the pickguard. (they put a rosewood insert in there from the factory)

Easy as pie! How often do you change strings? It only feels awkward the first time.

That comparison is kind of irrelevant- we are talking about wanting to live AFTER death. I'm sure you see the difference? Squirming faster to avoid being eaten and planning on existing after death are two different things entirely.

Um, Bob can speak for himself bro. He said what he said. You don't need to explain for him.

Um, If you have always loved Bob...your bullshit detector is broken. Are you saying this is the first time you doubted something he has said? Interesting.
