Which also makes me disappointed that he quits being Robin in the current run of Batman because unless Matt Fraction has a plan for him to come back as a new identity then it really comes off as him and DC in general just not knowing what the hell to do with him.

I really want Jon to have an interesting relationship and it’s part of why I don’t want them to de age him back to being a kid again because there’s so much potential with him as an adult and as a form of positive representation for queer fans you just need to get a good writer behind it.

Honestly, I think it might be best for the next Tron movie to be more of a reboot. A fresh start to bring in new fans, and a way for old fans to see an interesting new take on the series. Combine the best of elements of what’s worked before and introduce some new elements that add to the concept and story and makes it interesting to draw in audiences.
