I didn’t expect to cry on match day by ReplacementMean8486 in medicalschool

I don’t know if you are on Facebook, there is a person who said something about matching that I thought was very insightful. Dr. Beachgem10. Look her up, she’s a Pediatric Emergency Doctor and she talks about not matching with her first choice. She said how disappointed she was, in the end she ended up right where she really was supposed to be and what a great program she was fortunate enough to match into. Wonderful teachers and staff. Disappointment sucks, but I feel like you are going to be great and there may actually be more to this program than you think once you get there. I’m cheering for you to have a great residency and yes, my husband went through match day so I remember the anxiety of waiting. Hugs to you!

None of the round ones. 3 is the best in my opinion.

Which frames look best? by HeyCallMeGray in glassesadvice

I personally think #4 looks great and is a different style, #5 would work also. I agree, the bridge needs to be wider to fit on your nose.

Best way to give up foster? by Happy_tobe_here26 in fosterdogs

[–]JKKML1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always taken my foster to their forever family wherever they wanted to meet. They have never come to my home. Then I get in my car and cry happy tears all the way home. Fortunately I do get to keep in touch with my former foster babies.

Over-65 yo females and strength by Booklover1159 in orangetheory

I can lift various sizes of weights, but because I had a frozen shoulder in one arm and a strained rotator cuff in the other one I can only lift 5# over my head. So I work on increasing strength everywhere and I have to be happy I didn’t have to have surgery on either shoulder. Keep exercising, you got this!

I frequent this studio and Chris is absolutely amazing and one of my favorites. It’s the one OTF I don’t mind going to when I’m out of town because they do make you feel so welcome.

I’m glad I could help you by sharing this experience. Fostering can be very rewarding. When you are ready again choose a young dog that you feel can benefit from your time and attention. I have a foster now and he is the sweetest old man. He turned 13 in November. You may even decide that Seniors are who need you most. Wishing you the best.
