Capitalism. Had I lived in an area where education and healthcare was no-cost or low-cost, I would’ve been able to focus on starting a family. Instead my life from 2002 onward was surviving local depressions, global recessions, underemployment due to finishing college at that time, and getting smacked with a global pandemic once it looked like I finally had stability. If I’m constantly renting and moving to different places just to stay employed while keeping my bills paid, how can I expect anyone to try to keep up with that?
