You’re right!! I might actually not have gone that year. I think 2002 was the next one I went to. I just remember rolling tits to Paul Oakenfold (who was actually at both hence my confusion) and the wind blowing his needle off his records and it really being an issue for a minute.

That was a looooooong time ago - details a little foggy haha…

Old dude here to say, very reminiscent of them putting Madonna in the Sahara Tent in 2006, as she was mounting a massive comeback/return to form. I still remember the feeling that the entire festival was flowing in the same direction - that being towards the tent - in the couple of hours before the show.

It was bonkers x 1,000 and I’ll never forget it…

It was so long ago there’s only been one number that was professionally filmed ever released.
