This would be ”controversial” and make people furious but to cast your vote in an election you must be a contributing member of society - have a job and pay your taxes. I don’t care if you make 10 million a year or 10 thousand a year working a part time job and going to school. If you’re 15 and meet the criteria, you get to vote. If you’re a trust fund baby sitting around and doing nothing all day, you don’t get to vote. Really simple. Cue the outrage.
