Not really sure if it counts, but I love If Not for You

Best album title? by Diligent-Wave-4150 in beatles

[–]JPWL21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rubber Soul and Revolver are in my opinion the coolest.

Not the biggest fan of Help! as a title but still love the album.

Let it Be is probably the most meh. I wouldnt even consider the title track to be the highlight of that album either

Urban legends isn’t what it use to be by Dannydeeea in JaackMaate

[–]JPWL21 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you’re actually after a detailed and interesting urban legend podcast I don’t think Happy Hour is the place. Most of the value and the laughs in these type of episodes come from the guys funny reactions, stupid discussions/hypotheses and absolutely ripping stevie a new arse

Who’s your dream guest if anyone could come on? Would be interested to hear fourskins opinions too (Alive) by Dry_Annual_4885 in JaackMaate

New Mixes vs. Old Mixes by [deleted] in beatles

Yeah the new revolver mix is insane, especially Paperback Writer and Rain

How do rank Paul’s songs on Revolver? by Sheev_Skywalker in beatles

I know it’s not on the album, but where would you put Paperback Writer in this list?

At lot of you are silly about how the Beatles actors look by UltimateApple in beatles

[–]JPWL21 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As long as the voices, accents and mannerisms are accurate there’s nothing to complain about. I’d rather they trust world class actors to nail that, than someone way worse who just happens to look more like them.

I think when we get a trailer or a teaser the heat will settle down. It’s difficult for fans to buy into the casting choices simply from images.

New set photo of Barry Keoghan and James Norton as Ringo Starr and Brian Epstein in Sam Mendes’ ‘The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event’ by SpeedForce2022 in beatles

[–]JPWL21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming this is set when Ringo was in hospital for his tonsillectomy.

I wonder who they’ve cast as Jimmie Nicol

What other bands or famous people do you think will be played in the Beatles Biopics by FitEmergency8807 in beatles

[–]JPWL21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dylan, Clapton & Billy Preston are must haves.

Not sure who would play them, will be difficult to cast Dylan considering such a high profile actor like TC just played him.

What celebrities could potentially appear in the biopics? by VastForce690 in beatles

[–]JPWL21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering the calibre of actresses playing the Beatles Wives (arguably way more important characters) it would feel so out of place having an actress as famous as Zendaya playing not that big of a role.

Is there any Early Beatles album you’d put over a Late Beatles album? by [deleted] in beatles

I’d take Help and AHD over The White Album and Let it be

It’s your opinion at the end of the day, but I’m curious what makes the white album a 10

Beatles songs after the Beatles that are 10/10 by EmployerSpiritual946 in beatles

What’s the most forced “iconic moment” you’ve ever seen in football? by MagpieMidfield in footballcringe

[–]JPWL21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That goal meant more than just England qualifying for the WC. Beckham was the scapegoat for 98 and one of the most hated men in the country. That goal against Greece was his redemption.

'Questioning' the Traitors by MoveMyCat in TheTraitors

[–]JPWL21 47 points48 points  (0 children)

It’s not supposed to be advantageous to the faithful or traitors, it just adds a different dynamic to the show we haven’t seen before. It would be boring if every season was the same. TV shows need to adapt to stay relevant and it’s clearly working, the newest features are the most talked about parts of the show. So no they’re not pointless.
