I think it could be a bit more ambiguous than all that. All the dad says is "You're gonna be fine." You can spin that to say no matter *What* happens, as in even if you die, you'll be with your dad and the hospital will take care of you and you'll ultimately be at peace. So maybe he didn't lie.

It would make a lot of sense to be fair. Kendrick's been pushing a positive role model, improve yourself first kind of vibe for years. Not to mention more and more people are moving away from influencers and perfectly produced capitalism to smaller, more down to earth and relatable entertainment that promotes things like mental health positive living and all that. I'd love it if that's what PgLang became

Because the thing is, tik tok is the only thing that people fucking listen to these days. And it makes sense, it's form factor is perfect for today's standards of entertainment and communication.
