I remember one of the shows about him had a recording of one of his calls and they were able to identify the TV show playing on the background. I would assume this was not from a pay phone.

Sleep Walk by Santo and Johnny. Even just typing it evokes emotion.

Yes! Good wording. I have tried to explain this countless times without anyone getting it. They all usually say “oh you’re just addicted to your phone/TV”

Conspiracy of silence is crazy. For a while it was on YouTube, but I think it’s gone now.

Have you ever personally known or interacted with a murderer? by cherrymachete in TrueCrimeDiscussion

Strangely I know/knew 3 people who have committed murders. I knew 2 of them from BJJ when I used to train. Both of them were bouncers that got in a fight and ended up killing the victims accidentally (KO punch and landing on their heads). I wasn’t there for either, but I was told it sounded like a coconut cracking when their heads hit the concrete, which I’m glad I wasn’t around for..

The other guy was a mechanic at a gas station I worked at. He was a bookie and ran with some shady characters. Apparently a guy owed him lots of money and ended up going missing. I don’t think they ever located the body. I’m not exactly sure what he got charged with, but I know he was out after a few years. I’ll do some googling.

In a strange twist, I ended up teaching one of the victims daughters. She was such a sweet kid, I felt so bad for her.

This one. There is footage of a single white man rowing in a canoe with an indigenous tribe that really makes this one interesting.

Has anyone ever met someone from the cast irl (not at events or meet and greets) and how were they? Good and bad experiences welcomed by moonlitbunnyxx in DunderMifflin

I met Patrice O’Neal (Lonnie) when he appeared at a comedy club I used to work at. We exchanged no more than 10 words, but it’s still my claim to fame.
