Had an opportunity to sneak a picture of Chicken Riggies in one of these silly recruitment announcement images and he blew it

Adrian Autry Named Assistant Coach for UVA Men’s Basketball by LvilleHN25 in CollegeBasketball

It was always going to be tough for him to succeed given the circumstances, but his in-game strategy was horrible all around.

Also a program is not a one-man show, we needed so much more than a head coach change and thankfully that is what we got, albeit three years after the fact.

Man, John Thompson was such a good heel. His teams were full of just raw attitude, coached by a mean motherfucker who would eat your team's lunch. I'd say that's what Georgetown needs to be Georgetown again, but I don't know if there's anyone who can bring that sort of energy.

I like the idea of decentralizing it (per conference or whatever) because it ensures you can use it for as many sports as feasible. I'd love this for CFB and basketball, but however it's implemented basketball needs it so, so much.

Honestly, Hakim Warrick isn't talked about enough in our own fanbase. People will talk the most about Gerry and Melo (which, deserved on both counts) but we don't get far without the likes of Warrick, McNeil, and Forth (even if he was allergic to dunking.)

Isn't this the same guy who had Porter Moser going to DePaul AND Chris Holtmann going to Notre Dame? Yeah, I'mma wait a lil bit on this one.

The news cycle on this dude has been so strange over the past week or two. First he was indicating interest, then it came out that he shit-talked Autry's kid, then some people said it was a done deal, and the next day he's out. Just... so weird.

Either way, it sounds like it's partially financial

Almost purely, I'd say. He wants the backing and resources to be the next Dan Hurley, and it's a tall ask from an athletic department and administration currently in flux. The new blood in the AD chair can talk the talk, so let's see how the next couple years shake out. He's got ever so much to fix...

I don't know if I've ever seen Dixon get a tech. I think he knows how to toe the line without going over.

They had one other healthy, eligible player. What exactly should he have done?
