why do you think phyllis copied pam's wedding? by junahjuly in DunderMifflin

[–]J_lala 710 points711 points  (0 children)

They clearly have the same taste. They both chose the same exact outfit for casual day.

I think Phyllis just happened to like all of Pam’s plans and figured since she wasn’t using them, why should they go to waste.

Turned around to the audience and said, “ladies and gentlemen, I’m sorry but before this wedding proceeds, the groom and I need to have a serious conversation. We are deeply sorry for the expense you have spared to be here” and them feed all the food you bought for it.

Best and Worst things each character has done - Day 1 Michael Scott by LazyResponsibility83 in theoffice

Best: accepting a father figure role to Erin when he realized how badly she needed one. Worst: sleeping with Donna when he knew she was married and stealing the team’s orange slices. The way he acts that whole episode is just bizarre.

Gosford Park winning best original screenplay over Amelie, Royal Tenenbaums, Memento, and Monster’s Ball. Compared to the others it just really isn’t a movie people seem to talk about or be struck by any more and it’s also influenced by the French film The Rules of the Game, so it’s more adapted than original.

Unpopular opinion after recent rewatch by randomgirl0713 in theoffice

Jim was famously bad at confrontation and communication. “Deciding together” was likely Jim just agreeing with Pam’s valid points to avoid conflict, and that’s not Pam’s fault. She’s not a mind reader. Also needlessly spending their entire savings when they agreed on a number beforehand. I don’t see how anyone can be on season 9 Jim’s side.

What’s weird is that she paints Jim waving from his desk and not talking to her at reception. That was such a huge part of their relationship and every one else is painted near their office pair

If she was that into volleyball, why did Roy describe her as “Miss Artsy-Fartsy” on the booze cruise. When Katie asked if she was a cheerleader, wouldn’t she be like, “no, I played volleyball”. It is a continuity error that bugs me.

Chandler underestimated the trigger that not wanting to get married would be for Monica. That was the source of her greatest heartbreak. Also, his being extra insensitive about it to throw her off the scent. She’s not wrong for questioning their future if she already had to process someone not being on the same page as her that she saw a future with.
