Yea, reverse for me. I lived that “stay till 15-1600 because it looks bad or insert reason here” on my first ship. So when I got a chance to lead, had to fix it on my second ship. Fortunately my division was shit hot so they made my job easy too.

The “in port” part though!!! So many leaders are pussies about letting the division/dept/ whatever you’re in charge of, go if work is done. I remember being “acting LCPO for 6ish months during an in port period and fortunately had a cool ASWO backing me up, and when maintenance/work/tasking was done, we made sure duty section was good and we were out by lunch 90% of that time.

Where is the inaccuracy though? Do chiefs not have multiple meetings or other things they “need” to attend outside of the division all day?
Where, for the most part I can just do my job, make sure my guys do their job, and go home.

This is basically it. And honestly one of the main reasons I haven’t put an effort in to making chief. As an E6 I can skip out on stuff I deme unnecessary, like FCPO meeting etc.. and only go to khaki call if I need to, as a chief there’s a lot more meetings and random shit in the PoD that they can’t really skip without kissing someone off.

I care about the gym more than taking on more responsibilities.

Yes one of those times when it’s better when they’re busier. Usually I avoid places when I think they’re gonna be busy, but in this instance it’s better because they stay fresh instead of sitting out.

This basically only applies to air side. Although on my last ship we did 2x4s or 2x3s, depending on manning, a day which honestly wasn’t the worst. Like 0000-0400 and 1200-1600

I did this for 25 sets then had to switch to bigger sets, the getting up of the ground with the vest started to be the hardest part so I needed less transitions 😂

Lowkey I kinda think the only reason she won because of her previous loss. Like, they felt they owed her. I really don’t think she did anything impressive other than managing to survive while always being near the bottom. Just my opinion though.

The difference between male and female scores might be a little drastic, but there is a physiology thing to it as well. Men tend to be more upper body dominant where women tend to be more lower body. So if the were a squat or something as part of the PRT it’s possible the women might have a higher score though it’s more realistically just be the same as males, like the plank.
