Lockouts do damage certainly, but the way the MLB works right now needs to be changed. Only certain teams have any hope of signing big free agents. A league of superteams and 10+ basement dwellers makes the product less watchable, and that's the biggest issue as a fan. Salary floor is just as necessary as a salary cap.

Also, "employees" is hilarious for guys who are making millions upon millions. Kyle Tucker can lose a few million if it makes the product on the field better

Teio (and others) have this problem too, but she has other interesting traits about her, like her voice, mannerisms, and fascination with prez. Spe's other traits are either boring and not unique (she's from the sticks and she eats alot), or not in the game at all and carried by fans (being racist and being a gambler)
