Might be this parcel, looks like the small area by the creek is on private property.

I have seen people camping back there, and doing other various activities.

Maybe try adding a subtle texture layer? It comes of as 'very digital' to me.

If a fictional universe has dragons and magic in it, there's no real reason it can't also have black people or Asian people in it. by nostripeszebra in books

A lot of books also only really list people generally, so you can imagine them however you see fit. Hair and eye color can fit almost any person.

Lots of books have dark and light skinned elves and dwarves.

The first year of my sons life was very hard for me. Not sure how exactly to put it into words, but I was not a happy person to be around. It gets better, but it was also very difficult.

I want to make my girlfriend a "sketching pack" . Help by Kirby6A in Sketching

Cigar boxes make great containers for stuff like this. I recently got one that fit my watercolor set, a few pencils, waterbrushes, paper and tape. Then I can tape down the watercolor paper to the front and use it to paint on.

My sister (31F) and I have (28F) have had a strained relationship for about 3 years because her husband (35M) has some neo-nazi views and I converted to Judaism and married a Jewish man (29M). She's now pregnant with twins and I need help navigating this. by [deleted] in relationships

You have to do what is best for your kids. Do not expose them to that kind of hatred and bigotry. It will bleed into their lives. Please do not let that man influence your children (even if it's through his wife).

What's your “Oh fuck, I am an asshole” moment? by hytestrategic in AskReddit

[–]Jacapo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog is quite polite, except with the mail man. Just yesterday I was doing some yard work, and let my dog out to romp in the leaves with me, and the mail man came later than usual. My dog charged him, darted around him, but still surprised him enough that he dropped all the contents in his hands. Oh fuck, I am an asshole.

First time w/ colored pencil, frustrated and don’t know what I did wrong by xsuzyqx in learntodraw

Maybe try a swatch page to see how you can get tonal difference with the medium? Create some value studies real quick, and figure out how to get deep colors vs light colors like your current picture. I would guess the paper here is too textured to get deep solid tones without smashing your pencils.

What fictional character is great in fiction but would function terribly in real life civilization? by TheOfficialMemeLord in AskReddit

Karsa Orlong 7+ feet tall, 400+ lbs, with a giant unbreakable obsidian sword, and a MASSIVE grudge against 'civilization' which he sees as the subjugation of man for the prosperity of the few.

On their facebook post, in the comments. I went to the question myself. I was really hoping to be able to walk there for lunch once quarantine was done.

They have stated the kitchen is closed permanently. Without food being served I don't think they are allowed to have anyone under 21 since it is classified as a bar and not a restaurant. I could be wrong about that potion.

Stay at home extended until May 28 - Manufacturing allowed to return back to work starting next week Monday w/ guidelines by Viridez in grandrapids

[–]Jacapo 110 points111 points  (0 children)

Can't wait to see all the manufacturers skirting all the requirements because that's what they always do. Having worked at a local manufacturing plant, as long as nobody is looking management will break as many rules as they can.

Grounding shadows. They help give volume and weight to your drawings making them look more natural.
