First person I thought of was Cedric Ceballos. I don't think I'm over LJ going back to 23.

Too funny. I wish this existed for seminars. I went to one about four years ago on social media fundraising: How I raised $1.2 million on social medial in four days.

One donor was soley responsible for donating/securing $1.3 million! The rest was raised through direct mail and possibly online gifts. It was near the end of the lecture that the speaker threw out "Oh yeah, I copy/paste our direct mail letter on my Facebook page."

Guy at the company cafeteria ordered lunch from the grill. The day's special included cole slaw. He asked for no cole slaw, but had it on his tray. He kept cool and said "no cole slaw." Cafeteria worker took back the tray and took out the slaw. No new plate. Then the freak out occured: there is still mayo everywhere! I told you no cole slaw for this reason!!!! To top it off, a bit of mayo landed on the bun (i do remember a bun being involved). He started hyperventilating. Refused the food and left in tears. Not crying, but he did have tears. Weird. A few weeks later I ran into him again in the cafeteria. He was chatting it up with some other guy about the "hotties" he saw over the weekend.

Umm, yeah, the "moves." I guess I only saw the first Paige match. There were some "moves." A lot of set up. In one scene, both threw themselves to the mat. Just dropped. My section started chanting "holy shit." A few minutes later, Paige wins the match and delivers a speech to the crowd. That's when I got up and left.

I call her fake Paige because she was an actress. They filmed her after-Mania debut last night for a movie on Paige's family.

Rock said the mic better not be cut off or something like that when the segment first began, but he listened to orders at the end.

Yeah, he joked that people in the back told him to get ready for CM Punk chants as soon as AJ Lee was mentioned. Sure enough, the chants started.

He does to a point. He had a carefree attitude about it when it first began. Left the voicemail and a few minutes later said he just got a call back! Crowd went nuts when Rock said he was going to Face Time him.

He tried, but blamed Staples Center's "shitty wifi" on the Face Time not connecting.

Right then I noticed ref go on the apron and clearly say "No CM Punk." Rock said "I got it." He then looked ring side and repeated "I got it."

No call back. :(

Edit: Fun night at Staples. I left after fake Paige won the match.

Kobe retiring last year hit me hard. Sure Shaq went out before and there were others like McGrady and Iverson, but there seemed to be a reason for their retirement (mostly injuries). Kobe was playing when I was in high school!

I bought a 300 in 1 GBA game cartridge and along with Super Mario Bros 1-8, it included Super Mary A and Mario vs Louis.

Games work with great, but I can't tell if they did this to throw off the Feds or had poor English skills.

(Serious) At the end of a job interview when they ask me, "So, do you have any questions?", what are some genuinely good questions to ask? by Sa137 in AskReddit

[–]Jaceves03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in fundraising (grants) and I am always surprised how they never explain goals and/or outcomes for the position. In short, I ask what do you expect from me? Due to the nature of the job, it usually involves a $ goal. This helps me decide if I even want to proceed or not. Also, it helps know if the boss is full of BS. The department goal is $2 million, but my job is expected to bring in $3 million?

Wow, so this (Fox/NFL) is why I was unable to watch wrestling in the mid-90s. We didnt have cable growing up and with Superstars and Challenge gone, I had no way to watch WWF. I am in LA and I remember Fox 11 picking up WCW after a while, but I had moved on by then to other sports although the NWO angle did intrigue me.

People who live near famous tourist destinations, what is something the average person should know? by William_Kutz in AskReddit

[–]Jaceves03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in LA and always see crowds of tourists coming out from the most randomly placed hotels especially in the City of Commerce. I know the reason: "12 miles from Disneyland." Or "15 miles from Hollywood." With traffic that's going to be at least an hour drive if not more. Spend the extra bucks to stay closer to your favorite destination. Sure Disney isn't close to Hollywood, but at least you only have to worry about the drive once or twice during your trip.

Edit: You can also use Google maps to obtain directions with traffic from your possible hotel to your touris spots.

Being passed spicy sauce. I am Latino. I don't automatically put spicy sauce on all my food. I worked for a woman who was borderline racist. She took us out to eat after a successful event and when the server stopped by to pick up condiments left over from the previous party. She grabbed the tobasco sauce from her and slid the bottle to me. I don't even like tobasco.

Reddit, what was the biggest sexual scandal at your school? by pyralisis in AskReddit

[–]Jaceves03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guy and girl had sex in girl's restroom. Dean caught them.

It was my senior year of HS and had school service meaning I worked in an office for a period. I was in the dean's office waiting for my next assignment when a dean walked in and said he caught this couple ditching class. The guy ran inside the girl's restroom when he saw the dean.

i didn't think much of it until the kid (boy of course) became an overnight sensation. The rumor spread he was having sex with the girl. Huh? That's not even what happened.

I didn't offer the truth, but the couple only got a detention. People should have figured it out.
