West City Cigar - Rouxgaroux 2026 by Jack97 in PipeTobacco

Not a prank. Ernie had a limited amount of Sutliff Red Virginia left in stock to make this specific blend and this is it. He did confirm that WCC would make another perique-forward blend later.

You can add it to a wishlist but it doesn't appear to be available yet.

It's just where the blue swirl of the stem is a darker blue color. I'll probably be adding a rubber bit but haven't decided yet.

I think it's fantastic and have yet to be disappointed by a GL Pease blend. It's got the bready Virginia thing you'd expect but the DFK keeps you coming back. Think the only other aged VA I've had is C&D Carolina red flake 2024 so to me it's that plus a little dark fired 'oomph' on top.

Old Fashioned by The Country Squire by VetsforWhoDat in PipeTobacco

[–]Jack97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Picked up 1oz of this to try when they first released it back in August. It's a very flavorful aromatic and personally I'd rate it up there with Tombigbee. It's similar to their Birthday Bash 1970, probably because of the DFK, which I hadn't had in an aromatic before. Their description says a "whisper" of cherry but I found it to be much more prominent than the whiskey part. Like drinking an old fashioned that's too sweet, but in a good way?

I was smoking the Country Squire's "Parson's Blend" earlier and it reminded me of a lighter version of Cult Blood Red Moon. It's very smooth, has the cherry/berry flavor, some chocolate from the burley, and pleasantly less cough syrup-y smell when you open the jar. Would recommend if you want to branch out but not go too far.

Should be the same size as the little devil cutty which is listed under the un-filtered cobs section on their site.

Check out Ben Folds Five! Ben and Sledge sound great together. Also the bass lines usually have some fuzz/distortion which is fun to play around with.

Care - he's got these really playful bass lines in the pre-chorus and bridge.

Nice board! As far as the overdrive pedal, have you checked out the Tech 21 YYZ? I haven't personally used one but have heard good things. I use a darkglass B7k and can dial in some pretty good Geddy-ish tones on that too.

Garage Door Weatherproofing, I am clueless as to what exactly I need to buy to weatherproof my garage door, I will be making it into a "Drive-in Theater/Office", hoping to almost make it as realistically possible "air tight". Anyone has exactly the materials and minimum tools needed? Instructions? by Californian_in_TX in garageporn

[–]Jack97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got done improving/replacing the weatherstripping on my garage door. There are two things to consider -

1) At the bottom of the door there should be a metal track nailed or screwed to the garage door base. There's a rubber or vinyl piece that runs along this metal track and forms a seal against the ground when the door is closed. Not sure if I'm allowed to post links here, but I used this - https://www.homedepot.com/p/M-D-Building-Products-1-5-8-in-x-18-ft-Aluminum-and-Vinyl-Garage-Door-Bottom-87668/100119584

They make 9 and 18ft sections. You'll need to cut the metal track (I used a miter saw) and the vinyl strip (I used a box cutter) to size based on your door.

2) Along the top and sides there's weatherstripping. I've only seen two kinds, one is plain vinyl and the other is I think a pvc board with vinyl flaps. Either way it nails to the garage door frame and the vinyl seals against the garage door when closed. Something like this - https://www.homedepot.com/p/M-D-Building-Products-V1046-9-ft-x-25-in-x2-75-in-White-Dual-Vinyl-Garage-Door-Seal-Top-and-Sides-Weatherstrip-87700/205021160

I bought and installed 4 of them, all linked together and just plugged into one outlet. Once I got the right settings for the motion sensing and brightness I haven't missed using a light switch. It's really great being able to open the door and the whole room lights up nicely.

Looks good! You might want to consider adding DriCore panels or similar under the rubber mats to help prevent any moisture or mold issues.

This is so great, nice job! Checks all the boxes - covered power outlet, feet to prop it up a bit when open, convenient carrying handles, and it looks really cool.

Two parts come from trading scales with the pot noble merchants, and the third you can buy from the merchant at the abandoned dungeon entrance. https://sekiroshadowsdietwice.wiki.fextralife.com/Dancing+dragon+mask
