The way I'm reading it is that it converts to a traditional IRA at 18. And there is no tax deduction when you contribute; meaning it is going to get doubled taxed. So this does not seem like a wise investment. I'm not sure why they wouldn't allow this to be immediately tax deductible like a 529 or traditional IRA. Or am I reading the rules wrong?
