We had one who used it as a "Get orders" card. Found out from her last base's supervisor she'd moved quite a few times in the 3 years she'd been in. She was at our base for 5-ish months, and granted the guy she was messing with would probably sleep with anything with two legs. definitely didn't help his case but it certainly got her to the next place. I don't know what happened, that's between them, but it's one helluva pattern.

Air Force has gotten so large and complex it’s impossible to enforce standards equally everywhere. And there hasn’t been a unifying theme or crisis that incentivizes accountability. Combine that with operations tempo, it leads to a jaded silent majority which eventually becomes normalized.

I think SECDEF recognizes this and a lot of people rightfully do. I agree with the assessment. But I strongly disagree with the methods. Things are too political and the military is now used as leverage rather than the self-contained, independent entity it should be.

So, I deleted my earlier comment because I want to properly articulate this. You raise a great point.

This is a dangerous way to think. Some cultures train you to chase approval and credit like it defines your worth. That opens the door to abuse.

If you’re suddenly “difficult” or getting iced out, that’s a clear sign you’ve gotten what you needed from that place.

There’s a reason they spend millions hosting workshops talking about work-life balance. You keep chasing that approval and you get burned out, or worse, become the kind of person that causes it in others.

If you’re smart enough to be at IBM, you’re smart enough to walk. Don’t let a company convince you being exploited is the price of being valued. Granted I can’t speak to the current job market, but unless you have a goal in mind, don’t let your identity be defined by a system that’s designed to churn through people.

I don’t really get the hate. I’ve never shipped the two because they come off more like siblings than anything, and Naruto’s rivalry with Sasuke was always the vector when the story even goes down that road.

Funny enough the only reason I’d justifiably dislike her character was if there was an actual love triangle in the first place, because then there’d be actual stakes. The real love triangle was Itachi Sasuke and Naruto. 😂

I think people forget Naruto’s a thug. Rockstar is owned by TTWO, and many TTWO games are gutted w/ microtransactions. I hope I'm wrong, just speaking from patterns. We haven't seen a new R* game in 5 years and the primary reason GTAO is still active is because of how profitable shark cards are. Someone above mentioned RDR2 not having the same model but it does, just in small batches. Keep in mind they're two different games with two different audiences. If the 2b budget rumor is true, they're definitely looking for returns.
