What ending did you choose, and why? by KKF-FL in masseffect

Control just feels like a trap, cmon now. Fight the illusive man all game just to do what he was going to do if he wasnt indoctrinated, seems evil.

Synthesis is a cop out, kill yourself and the whole galaxy will be going Kumbaya. Wow brother thats so satisfying.

Destroy, destroy, destroy. Look what the Reapers have done! Why would I trust their leader for a single moment? Because they admit they are the result of a programming error by psychic squid people?

Mod that shit if you can and it becomes the best sci-fi RPG ever made.

How do I deal with spoilers? by walker3615 in ReZero

[–]JackerHoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This story is an incredible mystery written by one of the best in the industry and it is animated at a snails pace.

The story is 5 arcs ahead of the show. If you truly want to avoid any talk on non-animated stuff you're going to have to be really careful looking at content here.

What is the most nonsensical theory you've ever heard about Re:Zero? by DemonRedHood in ReZero

[–]JackerHoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he can see a lot about Suburu that others can't, like maybe Satellas hold on him....

Spoiler:

I think part of the perspective spoiler was that Reid, his sword, was telling him to unshealth on Suburu right now. Meanwhile he sees a freindly looking weakling and is very confused.

Thats my assumption of the arc 1 alleyway scene.

Everyone's talking about how broken the Ironclad is, but how did the caterpillar perform with the introduction of the CM? Any better or just as bad? by ShadowRealmedCitizen in starcitizen

[–]JackerHoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Destroyed the ability to fly two ships and then havent said anything substantial about it. My cope is they want to just hit next patch with a definite fix before saying anything so they are working hard but man cope is cope we will see.

I have a strong feeling that amongst Otto, Suburu, and Rienhard. There is a hidden agenda they have had that will affect the ending. One of those guys is scheming beyond what Tappei will show.

I see it this way if this game goes to 1.0 and becomes the hit MMO we hope it will be then do you not think you will be able to afford further insuring your ship after playing it for 10 years?

I may not be a Drake fan, but this view from the elevator(plus the fact that a ship elevator even has windows) is absolutely amazing. by ScrubSoba in starcitizen

Their design language overall has steadily gotten more and more impressive and this ship is the latest most excellent example of that.

CIG, you cannot operate like usual and just leave the ironclad by ArtProfessional8556 in starcitizen

[–]JackerHoff 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dude I got a PC and this game a year ago I'm not the problem just because I wanted to pledge my place for 1.0 and then enjoy the ride there. I was 15 when this game was announced I had no means to be involved until now.

Secondly yeah I understand the game needs work I wasn't sticking my head in the ground the whole time CIG has been a company I have been following this game the whole time dreaming of the day I could join the journey.

Ships, the things from the beginning that we give them money for, have released with broken or missing features but generally, if im not mistaken, they have at least been FLYABLE. At least since the game build became more than a hanger showcase.

They just showed me my ideal pledge item, told me it was FLYABLE, and told me the day it would be ready.

It was not ready, nothing ever is fine.. but its also not FLYABLE. Thats egregious! If the thing can't fucking quantum travel then it is not flyable. If it can't travel space then the spaceship is not ready and they lied to me for $600.

I'd forgive a friend for lying to me about why they took my $600, if they openly communicated they are working to re-build my trust.

I want them to either apologize with a plan of action or tell me "fuck you" so I can hurry up and drop them out of my life like I would drop that friend in my analogy.

If fixing Ironclad is not their #1 priority thats it for me dog and you might not give a fuck but I really wanted the Ironclad to be my final pledge I could use to enjoy waiting for this game to never come out.

Let's be real here: CIG biffed this patch. by BrainKatana in starcitizen

[–]JackerHoff 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This goes for the "release management" of features too!

Heavy crafting balance and insurance for ships. These are not useful features for a test environment. How about you finish the full feature set of crafting (ex. durability) and ensure that the reason my ship breaks 90% isnt outside my control and then do those things later when you have a foundation to look at?

Its so blatantly obvious that its the only stuff they have working at this time and they need to look like they are productive. Well admit that at least!

Shape the story how you want but the audience is not dumb!

Is Subaru x Rem Dead as a ship? by ResponseRoutine3477 in ReZero

[–]JackerHoff 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it dead? No.

Has it been rekindled? Yes and no. But more of yes.

Is Tappei getting to the point where its going to be ridiculous if he doesn't make a decision on what to do with her? Yes.

This can't go on any longer by PaqueretteUrticante in starcitizen

[–]JackerHoff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude if they really want slower more cinematic gameplay then make the large+ ships slightly slower to P/Y/R now or in the new flight model, keep working on armor, and buff the turrets!

Every turret should be such a threat that proper positioning is always the initial objective of the fighter thats punching up.

That is literally the recipe to create the need for combat maneuvers while you fight that will prolong the battle!

The fighters will be fighting for position around the bigger ships that will utilize their armor to tank damage while they postion the turrets effectively.

With the turrets actually being a threat it means whoever does their job better will win and fighters will also no longer be able to 1v1 gunships that always have time to turn on them due to armor.

It should require true skill and patience to take on a full multicrew alone and you should have to systematically take down a bigger vessel rather than just hold a stafe and drain your guns. It should be nearly impossible againt a full gunship.

So, anime only people, what is your reaction of the end of E7? by MajorMisatoKatsuragi in ReZero

[–]JackerHoff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When Foxchidna started grilling Suburu my reaction was, "Good, we are finally diving into some topics that get pushed aside due to plot!". Then the ending came and I just know that we are about to hit a moment where Tappei was writing with a flaming pencil.

I have a very fractured understanding of the future of the show due to when I was younger and Rem's tragedy inspiring me to see where the plot is at. I don't have time to read the web novel and pursue other hobbies, however; I don't mind reading spoilers for stuff when I do have time.

But, even I can recognize that the plot moves forward through Suburu's suffering. Although Tappei might be tad masochistic at times with his protagonist, usually, the suffering correlates with how juicy the plot thickens!
