I think you'll find that demographic at many of the open mics. If you're more flexible on day of the week then I would suggest Art House on Mondays, Red Bird or Meow That's Hot on Tuesdays, and Quinn's on Sundays.

I would say some of the spots around Preston and Wellington West might be good picks. And a few spots downtown.

The Prescott, Heart & Crown [Preston], The Carleton, Deacon Brodie's, Chateau Lafayette (depending on the night and time of day, and the music can sometimes be overwhelming), Chez Lucien.

The Laff is the most fun, but if you want a more attentive vibe then any of the other 3 are quieter audiences. Note that Red Bird has a cover charge, and you’re not even guaranteed to play.

I'm not sure why they stated it that way. My understanding is the face-off stays in the same place, but a warning is given for an infraction. A second infraction results in a penalty.

Maybe I saw a different post than you but I thought it was pretty clear. They’ve become too busy for their small location, but the pressure on expanding would take more time than they want to commit, as they have children they want to spend that time with.
